I watched as you slowly got weaker,

As you slowly stopped being happy.

That morning when the stroke happened,

My heart broke and I was left with nothing.

You slowly stopped breathing as everything faded to black.

You were my only friend,

You were the only one who understood me,

And you died right in front of me.

You were too young,

You left way too soon,

And some people might say that I replaced you,

But you were one of a kind and I couldn't replace you even if I tried.

It's almost been a year without you,

And these last ten months have been nothing but hell,

And nobody understands that.

They'll never truly understand how much I miss you,

And how much I truly love you.
