㊴You're So Perfect
The two weeks of their vacation passed by in a flash. They stayed in Busan the first week; Jungkook showed to his baby all the favorite places he had when he lived there, every restaurant, every landmark.
They took plenty of photos together and printed them so they could put them in the photo album Sungwoon gave him. They also hung out with Jungkook’s friends every night, and Taehyung could develop a good bond with them.
Jian was literally in love with Taehyung. She treated him like her own son, something that made Taehyung feel loved and Jungkook immensely happy. When it was time for the two boys to leave, Taehyung shed a few tears when Jian gave him a goodbye hug and a kiss on his forehead. They promised they would visit her often since it was only about a three-hour drive.
The next week, the two boys were back in Seoul and went to Taehyung’s apartment so he could take his things and fully move in with him. They were too excited to make this step, even though it was still early. They knew it, but they didn’t care at all. They had tried it before and it worked out perfectly. So why not?
They met with their friends the same day they got back, and naturally, Jungkook had to bring up the “Tae” thing. His friends in Busan called Taehyung by his nickname, and Jungkook was stunned that he was okay with it. Taehyung told Jungkook that he broke the curse of that nickname, and he didn’t mind anymore for others to call him that.
Of course, everyone was mad at him, since Jungkook’s friends got to call him Tae before they could, but with some shots of tequila and a sorry from Taehyung, everything was okay again.
The returning to the company felt different for Jungkook. He was still in pain, but at least the pain was bearable now. And that was enough for him. Although it was exhausting, he could enjoy the classes and make progress. His grades of the first semester were disappointing — he could have done so much better.
He was deeply disheartened, and he had messed up thoughts again, but he discussed it with Taehyung. He talked about all his harrowing thoughts and fears, and Taehyung listened to him and comforted him. He could also make him smile and laugh with his heart, even though he was having a hard time.
Jungkook knew all he needed in those times was Taehyung to hold him tight and shower him with kisses. Maybe Jungkook was depressed for almost a week after he got his grades, but Taehyung was always with him and had his ways to cheer him up. As Taehyung had said, “We can be depressed together.” And because Jungkook shared everything with him, they could overcome it sooner.
Nothing stopped him from becoming the best of his class, though. Because four months later, when he got his grades again, he was thrilled and satisfied to the bone. It felt like his hard work had paid off. The other six boys were happy with their grades as well, and all of them were relieved that they managed to complete their first year in the company.
And there they were, on the last day of their first year in the company with drinks in their hands, chatting endlessly about various things. Jihoon and Eunhyuk arranged this party for the boys as they did every year on the last day.
All the students and teachers were currently outside, some sitting on the benches, some on the grass, and some dancing furiously with the music blasting from the speakers.
“Okay, I actually still can’t believe that we made it through this goddamn year,” Hoseok said with a chuckle, and the others could only laugh and nod at his words.
“I know, right? It doesn’t feel real,” Seokjin said.
“Well, the second year is the most difficult, so we better be prepared,” Namjoon said.
“We can do it, guys. Come on!” Jungkook cheered as he raised his bottle of beer, waiting for the others to do the same.
“That’s right, baby.” Taehyung smiled at him fondly before they clinked their bottles together.
“Oh, what are you guys going to do on vacation?” Hoseok asked.
“Seokjin and I will go to seminars abroad for two weeks or something,” Namjoon said.
“Yay, I’m so excited!” Seokjin grinned.
“I’ll go with Jimin to Daegu to my father for a few weeks and do some seminars there too,” Yoongi said.
“We should go all together!” Jungkook exclaimed. “Tea and I will go to Daegu too, so I can finally meet his father.”
“Yay, I can’t wait!” Jimin clapped his hands in tiny by his excitement.
“And after that, we’ll go to Busan to visit my mother and see my friends. Well, our friends now.” Jungkook shot a fond glance at Taehyung, smiling.
“I’ll go on a trip with my family for two weeks. Then I’ll come back here and wait for all of you,” Hoseok said, making them chuckle. “I’ll miss you, guys.”
“Oh, Hoseok hyung, we’ll miss you too.” Jungkook ruffled his hair. “I love you, guys.” He raised his bottle, and the others smiled softly at his words as they mirrored his movements.
“Cheers!” they yelled in unison before clinking their bottles together.
“Having fun?” Eunhyuk asked as soon as he appeared with Jihoon by his side.
“Yes, but apparently you can’t relate,” Taehyung sneered. “You don’t even have a drink in your hand.”
“Yes, because someone needs to keep this mess under control, you little...” Eunhyuk said through gritted teeth, though his voice contain a prominent teasing.
“Live a little, Eunhyuk-ssi! Drinking one beer won’t hurt you,” Jungkook chirped as he handed him a bottle. He noticed him eye the beer, then shake his head. “Okay, at least give it to your boyfriend,” he continued, the tip of his lips slanting in a smirk.
“What?” Eunhyuk spat out. “We’re not together!”
“Yeah, and I’m not gay,” Taehyung snickered with an eye roll. “Jihoon-ssi already blabbed,” he said in a singsong tone, making all of them laugh their heads off, except Eunhyuk, who was left dumbfounded, and Jihoon, who tittered and avoided Eunhyuk’s drilling stare.
“Jihoon-ah, what the hell?” Eunhyuk whined, shoving his shoulder.
“I’m sorry, okay? I tried playing it cool, but Taehyung saw right through me!” Jihoon said.
“I could see right through you two from day one. Took you long enough,” Taehyung said, wiggling his brows at them.
“Focus on your relationship and stop meddling in mine.” Eunhyuk crossed his arms over his chest as he whipped his head away.
“Funny coming out from you,” Jungkook scoffed. “Did you forget how you pestered us every time you saw us together? We couldn’t even stand next to each other, and there you were, saying some sarcastic comment or something. Payback time.”
Another round of cackles buzzed around them, and Eunhyuk shook his head, snorting. “Fair enough. We’ll see you later, guys.”
Jimin spectated as the two teachers shuffled away. “I can’t believe this is the same Eunhyuk. Do you remember what an ass he was at the beginning?”
“Maybe he’s still an ass sometimes, but he’s a good teacher,” Taehyung said.
“Yeah, I respect what he does. He prepares you for the real world after the company,” Jungkook added.
“Cheers to this fucked up world,” Jimin chirped before clinking their bottles together once more.
“Let’s go dance, guys!” Hoseok said.
“We’ll join you later. We have to go somewhere.” Taehyung grasped Jungkook’s hand and pulled him to his feet, then dragged him away.
“Where do we have to go?” Jungkook asked, already grinning.
“We can’t leave without saying goodbye to this place.”
The realization of where they were going didn’t take too long to sink in. Once they made a right turn behind the building, everything clicked. The rooftop, of course, he thought and chuckled to himself.
They settled down on the bench — a spot they had shared so many memories throughout the year.
“You know, this place has some bad memories, too. Remember you kissing that jerk?” Jungkook asked.
“You don’t need to remind me what an asshole I was. I remember every single moment I hurt you.”
“We weren’t even together then, Tae.” Jungkook pressed a kiss on his cheek, mellowing the gravity that tinged his face.
“I know, but still... Even though I did that for you to understand something, there was another reason, too.”
“Like what?”
“I think it was one of the days Eunhyuk was an asshole to you and you were upset. We were in the changing room and Jaebum was there too. He comforted you. I think he hugged you and kissed your forehead. I don’t know what got into me, but I was furious when I saw that. And I bumped into that jackass. He had flirted with me at the last party we went to, so I just dragged him here and made out with him. I wasn’t really into him, either. I mean, I knew he was an asshole.”
“So you kissed that guy because you were jealous? Of me and Jaebum?”
“Well, yeah. I hated seeing you with him because I wanted you for myself, even though I hadn’t realized it yet, and even though I was still with Youngjae. Too selfish?” Taehyung asked with raised brows and a little smile on his lips.
Jungkook giggled. “Yes, Tae, too selfish. But I’m not the one to talk. I continued sleeping with Jaebum to get you out of my head, so who am I to judge?”
“We could have been together way earlier if we weren’t so dense and scared.”
“I know, but we’re together now. And I love you so much, hyung. I can’t think about my life without you in it.”
Taehyung smiled at him and sighed in content, feeling exactly the same thing. “I love you too, Kookie. And I’m so happy I get to spend every day with you.”
Jungkook leaned in and united their lips tenderly. They conveyed all their blazing feelings for each other through this kiss, and mostly, their love. The unlimited love they felt for one another.
After several moments of relishing their kiss, they drew apart, delicate smiles decorating their lips.
Jungkook twined his arms around him, sneaking into his embrace. “You know, we fought many times in the seven months we’re together. But you never left me alone, even when I asked you to, and I never left you alone either. We always stayed together and talked things out. Well, except for that fight when I disappeared to Busan. I’m so happy we never fought like that again, and I hope we won’t.”
Taehyung ran his hand up and down his back and withdrew enough to embrace his cheek with his palm. “I’m happy about that, too. But even if we do, I won’t let you leave again. I promised to never leave you alone again, remember?” He dabbed his lips on his forehead in a fond kiss.
“You’ve promised a lot of things and I never said anything, but... the Taehyung I knew didn’t believe in promises. What happened to him?”
“He fell in love with the most beautiful and amazing boy in the entire world who could fix him and make him happy.” Taehyung beamed at the heavenly sound of his giggle. “You make me so damn happy. I don’t think before making a promise to you. It just comes out naturally. I want to give you everything, Jungkook. I want to make you as happy as you make me. Damn, I’m so in love.” He snatched his face and showered it with an ocean of kisses, both chuckling softly.
“Stop—it tickles,” Jungkook screeched through his laughter. The kiss attack subsided seconds later, and Jungkook curled his arm over his shoulders, rubbing their foreheads together. “You already give me everything, Tae. I can’t ask for more. Just you being with me is enough. You make me happier than you think. And you helped me change, you made me open up, you made me not be afraid to talk about myself to others. And damn, the sex with you is mind-blowing!”
They erupted into suave chuckles again at Jungkook’s last remark. “You’re an amazing boy, who deserves all the love of this fucked up world, Tae. And the fact that I can give you love and make you feel loved makes me so damn happy I can’t even put it in words. Thank you for being you and thank you for helping me change.”
“What did I do to deserve an angel like you?” Taehyung whispered before planting a small kiss on his forehead.
“You deserve everything good, Tae.”
“You too. Should we go back?” Taehyung pulled him onto his lap and fastened his arms around his waist.
“Or I can suck you off right here right now,” Jungkook purred, smirking, as his lips ghosted over his sensitive neck.
“What if someone comes?”
“I don’t know about others, but you can be the one coming right now.” Jungkook latched his mouth onto his sensitive skin and sucked it hard.
A shaky chuckle stuttered out of Taehyung as he groped Jungkook’s asscheeks. “You’re so perfect,” was the last thing he said before smashing their lips together.

The end.
Thank you for reading this book. I know the plot wasn’t something new or that interesting, but it’s based on my daily life during uni, and as I've said before, some of the things written in here happened to me in real life. (Although I didn’t fall in love with someone from my university—sad😂)
Thank you so much to everyone who read even a chapter of this book, to everyone who voted, and to everyone who commented💜
