㉟I'm Not Going Anywhere

Living with someone is not easy. It requires a lot of compromises and patience to get to know the other’s habits and pet peeves. You also have to be considerate of the other’s personal space.

But for Jungkook and Taehyung, everything happened naturally. Personal space? They didn’t know her. Even when they weren’t talking, they were always in the same room, doing different things, and they didn’t mind. They enjoyed each other’s company — they couldn’t get enough of each other.

They grew fond of each other more and more every day. And maybe they couldn’t admit it, but both didn’t want Taehyung to leave when his house would be ready.

🥀

“You ready to go, baby?” Taehyung asked as he curled an arm around his waist and pecked his cheek.

“Yes, I am. Do I look good today?” He took two steps back and spread his arms as he glanced down at his outfit.

Taehyung allowed his eyes to scan him from head to toe, assimilating every inch. “You look good every day—no. You look amazing every day. And you’re so hot,” he uttered, a deep, throaty element coiling around his words, and he drew nearer again. He clawed at his hips and pressed their bodies together, peppering kisses down the slope of his neck. “Maybe we should ditch the party and have a little party of our own.”

“And how will we do that?” Jungkook asked through smirking lips, his hands swimming across his back with satisfying pressure.

“You know, we have drinks. We can put some music on,” he rasped against the skin of his neck, then closed his mouth around it in a suck. “And we have you who will be screaming my name. That’s all we need.”

“Fuck, Tae,” he whiffled as a boost of heat stampeded to his crotch. When the realization that he ground his hips against him unconsciously thundered down on him, he ceased his movements and disconnected their bodies with a mild push on Taehyung’s chest. “We have to go to the party, Tae. It’s the last one since it’s Christmas in a few days and everyone will be with their families. We won’t see them that much.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever... I prefer being alone here with you.”

Jungkook admired his cute pout and embraced his cheeks with his palms. “We haven’t gone out in a while now, and you know it. Every time this week our friends asked if we’re down for a beer, we always said no. We’re bad friends.”

“You’re right,” Taehyung sighed, then merged their lips shortly. “Let’s go to the stupid party.”

“Oh, come on, Tae, you rarely miss a party! That’s your thing.”

“Yeah, but being with you somewhere quiet is far better than a stupid party.” Taehyung caged him in his arms, resting his chin on his shoulder.

“You have become so romantic.”

“You make me like this. I was never like this. I don’t know what you’re doing to me.”

“Probably whatever you’re doing to me too,” Jungkook uttered and drew a light kiss on his neck.

“I can do a lot of things to you.” Taehyung’s pitch dipped again, with a few lewd innuendos lacing around it.

“Shut up,” Jungkook whined, delivering a soft smack on his asscheek.

“Okay, okay.”

“And thank you for the boner, hyung. It was exactly what I needed right now.”

“Well, I can take care of that.”

“We don’t have time now.”

“We have plenty of—” Taehyung’s words were cut off by the ringing of Jungkook’s phone.

With a sigh, Jungkook took his phone out of his pocket and accepted the call. “Hey, Jimin—”

“Where are you guys? We are five minutes away. You better not be late.”

“We’re on our way, hyung.”

“You’re lying, and I’ll beat your ass when I see you.”

“That ass is mine, Jimin-ah, don’t you dare touch it,” Taehyung said as he tipped closer to the phone, making sure he would hear him.

“We’re coming, don’t wait for us, we’ll see you at the party, bye,” Jungkook said in one breath and ended the call. “You’re such a brat.”

“I didn’t say anything wrong? That ass is mine.” Taehyung cupped the said ass and squeezed it with a groan.

“I hate you!”

“You don’t.” Taehyung punched a kiss on his pouty lips. “Let’s go.”

. . .

The two boys entered EXO’s house and headed towards the table with the drinks. Jungkook grabbed a beer and Taehyung a bottle of soju, then they hunted for their friends. They found them chilling on the enormous couch, and they joined them.

“Oh, look who’s here fifty minutes late,” Jimin sneered.

“Why? You missed us?” Jungkook asked.

“Yes, you little shit. You guys never go out with us anymore.” Jimin folded his arms over his chest, a pronounced pout taking over his face right away.

“They’re too busy having sex. Let them live,” Yoongi said casually.

“We’re not, shut up, hyung!” Jungkook whisper-yelled, already feeling his cheeks blush.

“Yeah, we’re not like you two,” Taehyung scoffed.

“Apparently, no one’s having sex,” Jimin murmured as his gaze plunged to the floor.

“What? Jimin you love d—I mean, you like having sex,” Seokjin said, earning a slap on his nape from him. “Yah!”

“Well, I do want to, but Yoongi here says he wants to treat me like a princess and I keep telling him that giving me the D doesn’t mean he’ll stop doing that,” Jimin said, still pouting.

“Yah, why are you talking about that with them?” Yoongi snarled.

“Because they’re my friends, and I know they’ll take my side, right, guys?”

“Hyung, he probably wants to take it slow, and I’m sure there’s a reason for that. But I’m guessing you haven’t even noticed, right?” Jungkook asked.

“Wait, is there?” Jimin turned to Yoongi, staring at him with hesitant expectancy.

A gruff sigh buzzed in Yoongi’s throat. “Why are you ruining my night, Kook?”

“Hyung, just talk your shit out with Jimin and stop being mean to my boyfriend,” Taehyung said, then smashed a kiss on Jungkook’s cheek, erasing his little frown. “He’s right, by the way, and you know it.”

“We’re supposed to be having fun right now. Is this fun?” Hoseok asked with a sigh.

“Well, since the shots are here, yes it is!” Jimin cheered as Kai brought them plenty of shots of tequila.

The heaviness and awkwardness that vibrated in the atmosphere evaporated as they clinked their shot glasses and gulped their drinks down.

Shot after shot and numerous beers and bottles of soju later, all experienced a mild dizziness wandering around their heads. Only Seokjin didn’t drink much since he was driving and Namjoon because he didn’t enjoy drinking a lot, anyway.

They chatted and danced and had a good time, with all their problems forgotten. Jimin and Yoongi walked out for a moment to cool off, the other three found a group of friends from the company, and Jungkook and Taehyung continued dancing.

Taehyung observed him with a grin glued on his face as Jungkook giggled for no apparent reason. He grabbed his hips to stabilize him when he noticed Jungkook stumbled a bit, and a chuckle dripped from his lips. “Baby, are you drunk?”

“M’not.” Jungkook fused their bodies, with his arms loosely wrapped around Taehyung’s nape, and rolled his hips against him to the rhythm of the music.

“You look like you’re about to tear my clothes off right here, right now.”

“Maybe I should,” Jungkook whispered to his ear, then sank his teeth into the side of his neck. “Would you mind that?”

Taehyung licked his lips as he closed his eyes, savoring the feeling of his tongue trailing his neck in hot, slow swipes. “Baby, you’re—” His words got drowned in the moan that erupted from him as Jungkook nibbled his earlobe, still grinding against him. “You’re drunk.”

“So? I want you.” Jungkook’s hand crept down his form in a smooth slide until it reached Taehyung’s hard cock.

But Taehyung wrenched his hand away. “We’re not doing anything as long as you’re drunk, baby boy.”

“You’re so not fun!”

Taehyung chuckled. “Let’s get you some water and fresh air.” He locked their hands together and led him to the marvelous garden after grabbing two bottles of water.

They perched in the grass away from the few people who were there, and Jungkook buried his face into the crook of his neck. “It’s cold.”

“I know, but you need fresh air, Kookie.” Taehyung twined a secure arm around him, pulling him as close as possible.

They spent a while out there, with that familiar, comfortable silence enwrapping them. Jungkook drank plenty of water, and combined with the refreshing air, his mild dizziness abated soon enough.

“How are you feeling?” Taehyung asked softly.

“I’m fine. Don’t worry, Tae.” Jungkook angled his head to press a kiss on his lips.

“Okay then.” Taehyung peered at his adorable face and brushed his hair back, smiling. “You’re so beautiful.”

“You’re more.” Jungkook captured his mouth in a brief yet longing kiss and leaned their foreheads together. “Are you okay? You seem like you have something on your mind.”

Taehyung didn’t answer immediately. “There is something I wanna talk about.”

“You can tell me.” Jungkook pulled back enough to bond their gazes.

“I don’t know what I feel about you.”

Jungkook blinked on repeat as any trace of content and relaxation dropped off his face. “What? What do you—”

“No, no, no, I said it wrong,” Taehyung hastened to say, shaking his head furiously. He took his hand into his and cupped it. “I’ve just been thinking about your talk with Seokjin and Jimin. I feel so many things about you, Kook. You make me feel so many things. And I don’t know... Is it too soon to call it love?”

With the sudden anxiety that previously seized him now died down, Jungkook contemplated his question for a spell. “There’s nothing wrong about calling it love, Tae. But why is it so important to put a name on it?”

“Because I’ve never felt like this before. And if it really is love, I wanna know it and even tell the whole world about it.”

A smile chock-full of fondness bloomed on Jungkook’s lips, stemmed by the ultimate warmth that enclosed his heart. He held his cheeks with delicate palms and painted a string of kisses on his lips. “If you feel it’s love, then it is, hyung. We have a lot of time to figure it out together, though, so you don’t have to rush things. I’m not going anywhere.”

“That’s the thing. I don’t want to leave you either. You make me so happy. You make me feel so good when I’m with you. I can’t even stay away from you for two minutes or something. It feels so, so good seeing you laugh, and it hurts too much when I see you cry. I’m so desperate about you.”

“Tae,” he breathed out as he engulfed him in a tight hug. “You’re so amazing. And thank you for everything you’ve done for me. You were always there. I couldn’t be happier about sharing the same feelings with you. I’m so lucky I met you, really.”

Taehyung offered him a loving smile, his gaze utterly soft for him. “I’m lucky I met you as well, baby,” he whispered against his lips and claimed them sweetly, their grip around each other tightening, as their heartbeat skyrocketed from the intense feelings they shared.
