No POV

A young boy wearing a beanie is walking through a park while watching videos on a device. He looks around and sees the many parts of the park he is standing in. As he looks in front, he could see a fairly large city in the distance. He hears singing nearby, a song that he hears constantly by one person. The boy turns and sees two girls sitting on a bench and conversing with each other.

Boy: Hey Michiru. Hey Nazuna.

Michiru: Oh, hi Logan.

Nazuna: Morning Logan.

Logan: Morning you two. On your break?

Michiru: Yeah. Enjoying your vacation? Well you deserve it a ton.

Logan: I think you're giving me too much credit.

Nazuna: I don't know, graduating two years early is a pretty big thing.

Logan: I just studied... a lot. I didn't want to fall behind on my exams.

Michiru: Well you obliterated the Grade Point Average in our school. Cheer up, like I've been telling you, you're bound for amazing things.

Nazuna: Yeah. Whatever they are, we'll be there.

Logan: No guarantee that it'll be bigger than being an all-star Basketball Player or a Super idol like you two.

Michiru: Now you're giving us too much credit.

Nazuna: But you are right in us being excellent in either of those. Though there's a chance I might have a slightly different take on what I said later.

Michiru: There's no need to worry about anything, Logan. With your mind, you're going to make a huge difference in this universe.

Logan: Well, let's all make a difference in this universe. No way I'm going to leave my best friends out of this.

Michiru: Yeah!

Nazuna: *chuckle*, Alright you two. Let's both do this together.

The three put their hands out and join them together before lifting them into the air.

Michiru: So Logan, is your dad that serious about moving?

Logan: He told you about that?

Michiru: Yeah, well it was a voice message, but he still gave the details. It was just last night though. He had quite a language on him.

Logan: I was going to tell you today. And I'm sorry about my dad. Unless you're his wife or his kids, he's not the most sociable person.

Michiru: Hey no worries. Believe it or not, I've handled those types of guys before. Besides, he wasn't that offensive to me.

Nazuna: Either that or you've got thicker skin than you appear to have.

Logan: This one will definitely be a skin piercer.

Michiru: What do you mean?

Logan: I'm not just moving, Dad and Mom are getting off the planet to get closer to thei company's new base.

Nazuna: They're actually leaving Tsukuyomi?

Logan: I don't want to. But my parents said I can't stay be on own just yet. Dad even said he wants to prepare for taking control of the company.

Michiru: So I guess our plans of going outside of Tsukuyomi have taken a different turn.

Nazuna: I'm sure we'll go beyond the planet as well. Just it'll take time.

Logan: Hey, I won't be gone forever. I'll come back before you know it.

Michiru appears to be attempting to fight back tears and smiles a little.

Michiru: Yeah. I know you will. After all, we still have a ton of plans to do together.

Logan hold out his hands in crossed position and both Michiru and Nazuna do the same. They grasp each other's hands.

Michiru: No matter what happens.

Nazuna: No matter where we go.

Logan: No matter what's ahead of us.

All: We'll stand together.

The three smile as their hands still remain clasped. They let go and continue talking until Michiru and Nazuna's break ends and they have to return to class. Logan keeps smiling and walks away.

A week later, Logan is at a shuttle base and carrying a backpack as he begins walking onto a ship heading off of the planet. He looks at the setting sun in the horizon and sees that lights that are beginning to glimmer in the distance. He knows it's just all the boats and buildings far away, but he still can't help admire it.

*Whistle*

Logan looks for where the whistle came from and sees Michiru and Nazuna on a rail outside of the station. The two wave before releasing a sign attached to the rail for Logan.

"THANK YOU FOR BEING OUR FRIEND LOGAN. SEE YOU SOON".

Logan sheds a tear and waves at the two as he boards the ship and takes off. Michiru and Nazuna look on as the ship leaves the planet. Michiru sheds a few tears and Nazuna notices this before putting her hand on her best friend's shoulder.

Nazuna: You'll see him again.

Michiru takes a minute before giving a smile and looking back up at the sky.

Michiru: Yeah. I know.

On the ship, Logan watches as he leaves the planet and looks on his phone to see a picture of him, Michiru, and Nazuna together. He smiles as the ship continues flying away from Tsukuyomi, seeing the two moons outside of its orbit.

Two years Later

A slightly older Logan is in an office and typing on a computer with several pictures of him with three other people within the last two years. He ends up getting a call from someone named Honoka. Logan pushes a button to answer it.

Logan: Hi Honoka.

Honoka: I Logan.

Logan: So how are you doing Little sis?

Honoka: Oh, you know. Mom's singing and training never stop. But I'm doing good and will continue to strive for you guys. By the way how's Dad doing?

Logan: He's... chill for the moment.

Honoka: Is your office intact?

Logan: Yes, but I had a new chair delivered since my other one looked put through hell.

Honoka: Yikes. Well, any chance we could have dinner together? I heard its all-you-can-eat Pizza Night in the cafeteria.

Logan: Sure. I could go for a slice or a dozen. But let's not push our luck with the "all-you-can-eat thing". Remember Billy.

Honoka: *Laughing*. Oh god yes, I remember him. Good advice though. Well, see you tonight.

Logan: Absolutely. Take care.

The call ends and Logan gets back to checking things on his computer. However, he gets another call from an unknown number. Though he was suspicious of it, he answers.

Logan: You got Hyperion.

???: Logan. Logan, can you hear me?

Logan: Who is this?

???: Logan, it's Jessie.

Logan: Jessie?

Jessie: Suspicion is a necessity. Which is why I'm communicating you this way. I know where to find a vault key.

Logan: Vault key? Are you messing with me?

Suddenly, an image of a vault key shaped like an incomplete wolf's head appears on his terminal.

Logan: Shut the front door.

Jessie: I also need your help. My family will be in danger. They're fine for now, but something big and bad is going to happen. I need to do something before the worse comes. And you're the only one I can count on.

Logan: Where are you?

Jessie: Come to Anima. I'm in its capital city.

An images of a planet and a fairly large city appear on Logan's terminal.

Jessie: Proceed with extreme caution. Anima may be a refuge for its species, but the good people there are in over their heads. Godspeed, Logan.

Logan then sees a message appear on his terminal.

"P.S. Here's something else that might interest you. This Tanuki girl came to town a few days ago. Been claiming to have been a Human once. Seem familiar?

An image opens up and shows a female Tanuki Beastman who with a blue jay color on her hair and tail. Also, she looks a lot less animal-like than every other Beastman. Logan then turns to the picture of Michiru he had next to the other pictures and looks at the image in the terminal to piece things together.

Logan: Michiru?
