Summary:

Newly Headgirl Hermione Granger returns to Hogwarts for her final year without Harry and Ron. She is eager for a stress free year but her happiness comes crashing down around her when Draco Malfoy is made Headboy. On the outside he still comes across as the same arrogant, cruel selfish person she knows all too well. However after a series of events where Draco saves her life and comforts her unexpectedly, Hermione realizes that he isn't the man she thinks he is. She knows he is tortured by painful memories from his past but he is determined to keep that hidden. As the unlikely pairings relationship develops, Hermione is unaware of the heartache, choices and new feelings she will come to discover.

I'm going to start off with a disclaimer: This one is VERY cliche. It's your typical 8th year Hermoine and Draco are Head Girl and Boy and Ron's a jerk. They hate each other and have to share a special common room and end up falling in love and blah blah blah. Love it.

So yes, this plot is very very overplayed. The majority of Dramoine fanfics on this website follow this very plot. THis was the first Dramoine I read, which might be why I wasn't bothered by the plot.

However, the writing is really, really good. It's a bit overdramatic, but hey, what fanfiction isn't?

Nevertheless, it's still one of my favorite fanfics, and I definitely reccomend it!
