I was wary of this story at first, as usually I kill for all that angsty buildup to a relationship; I hate it when the main characters are banging in the first chapter. But it didn't happen in this fic, and I was relieved. Them being together to start actually created more angst!

The author did an incredible job at developing the personalities of the characters. It was refreshing to see Peter depicted as a nice person, the way he actually was when he was at Hogwarts. Sirius was chaotic as ever, Remus was strong, and Regulus was so desperate. it fit their actual personalities so well without being too boring.

And it was so realistic. Remus and Sirius struggled through their identities and you could tell it tore them apart. They fought through their fears and insecurities and had me hooked all the way through.

I really recommend this read, it's fantastic!
