ITS HALLOWEEN!! JFJRBEKWMDBFJDKWBDJDJDKSBDHDJENBDBR
(Look at me, excited for something that isn't celebrated in my country.)
Ayeeee, Manasa strikes again.
The heart of the sky.
Okay, where do I start? I absolutely love this book and interestingly it was the first LGBT+ book that I've read. Suffice to say, I don't regret it at all.
Bonus points: it's inspired by Titanic which is one of my favorite movies.
Having the book taking place in a flight that is doomed to fall is a refreshing start compared to the rest I've read in my time here in Wattpad. A+ because it ran parallel to the real Titanic story.
The pure and gentle nature of Brando is what got me. Jeez, can he be anymore cuter?
While we have Dax here who is rough and tough and has daddy issues. (Okay, I'll stop now. Sorry.)
I found it quite interesting to grab out where the parall between the real Titanic and the the story Titanic starts and ends. It kept me on my toes!
We also have an angel, Dax's sister, who I love to death and she was going to be a mama! *Cries*
Just like ever story there is a stupid person who just doesn't understand what 'no' stands for and I present you the mortal enemy of Brando that is Nick whose name rhymes with something that we can use to describe him.
The up and falls of Brando and Dax throughout the story, their conflicted feelings between them in the 13 hours was pleasantly put in a elegant manner. I loved the writing, the grammar everything was A+. Period.
Also, the ending was quite different from what the author wrote first and till this day I still can't tell which one I'm pleased with more. Both turned out good and possible.
Now, as I have already said I don't usually go for romance if I can help it. But, this story genuinely interested me since it's LGBT+ which I didn't read before until then and also there are few places where the book wasn't totally about romance and I liked that but it did have lot of lovey thing in it so if you're like me and don't like romances then I am only 80% sure you'll like it but the rest of your guys, you're going to LOVE it!
It's a very emotional read and prepare to die. :)
I'll definitely recommend it for those who haven't read it.
For October, the book is The Cellar by natashapreston. It also has a sequel called His which is ongoing.
Don't forget the tag #RCC!
Byecha!
