"I only joined you so I could go home." I say turning around and sitting back down to continue looking at these black roses. Out of the corner of my eye I see Nightmare sit down next to me.

"You like these don't you?" He asked.

"Yes. They're beautiful" I reply, picking one of the roses. "What about you?" I ask turning to face Nightmare

"Hum?"

"Do you like them?" He nods. I look back at the roses. Despite black being a dark color I've always liked it. It's the one color that goes good with every color. And it can remind me of the night sky.

"BROTHER!" a sudden yell breaks me from my thoughts. Dreams here. Nightmare and I turn to Dream and stand up. "Nightmare get away from Y/N!" I sigh, it was nice and quiet before Dream showed up, couldn't he have not come?

"Dream, leave." Nightmare growled.

"Y/N come over here I'll protect you."

"Dream, I'm fine. I don't need protecting. Just leave so it can be quiet and peaceful again... please."

"Y/N! You don't understand ,you need to get away from Nightmare! Get over here now." Dream yelled. I shook my head. "Y/N!" I could hear the frustration growing in Dreams voice, I felt bad but I know I'm fine so I'm not going over to him. Dream started running over to me but before he reached me I felt Nightmares tendrils gently wrap around me and pull me close to him. I suddenly felt my face heat up. Am I seriously blushing right now!? Man this is becoming cliché. I hope Dream doesn't notice that I'm blushing. "Nightmare let Y/N go now!"

"No, Y/N want you to go so you should go now." Nightmare yells back. I nod in agreement.

"Y/N why don't you want Nightmare to leave?" Dream angrily asked me.

"Well he wasn't hurting me and was quiet here so I see no reason as to why he should leave. You broke the peace and quiet though and It's going to stay that way unless you leave." I explained.

"... FINE!" Dream yelled in defeat "I'll leave but don't blame me if Nightmare hurts you" Dream said before leaving. Ah, finally. The peace and quiet is back now.

"Um... Nightmare (lol I accidentally wrote Nightmate) you can let go of me now." I say. He doesn't respond and just sits back down putting me down on his lap.

"You seemed to enjoy me grabbing you earlier so no, I won't let go of you yet." Nightmare says making my face heat up again. Why do I blush at the most inconvenient times? "Seems like you still enjoy it." Nightmare said pulling me closer. We are so close that I can feel his breath in my neck.

"N-Nightmare. P-Please let m-me go." I say, feeling the heat in my face steadily increase.

"Only because you said please and also because you're going to wake up soon." Nightmare replies. He unwraps his tendrils from around me and I push myself off his lap and sit down next to him. I focus on my breathing calming myself down feeling the heat in my face fade away. "You need to find a way out of Dreams base. When you get out I'll be able to find you fast." Nightmare suddenly says.

"Ok. Dream most definitely won't let me out of the base. So I'd have to get Ink or Blue to get me out." I say. We stay silent for a while. Then everything starts fading to white.

"Don't panic, you're only waking up. I'll see you soon hopefully. Bye" Nightmare says.

"Bye" I quickly say before white takes over everything.

I wake up and think back to my dream. Man I hope Dream isn't mad. I sit up and then hear knocking at my door. "Y/N! It's Dream. Are you up? We need to talk." Shit, I'm in trouble.

A/N Sorry that this update came out late. I've had trouble thinking about how to continue this. Updates may come out a little more over (about) the next 3 weeks because school was canceled for 2 weeks due to COVID-19 (Corona virus). The other week is spring break. (Sorry if i made you mad talking about COVID-19)
