(Summer Ending) Chapter XVIII: Light Shining In (Lemon)
Entering the cozy bedroom, you lean down and meet Summer in another passionate embrace. Running her hands along your shoulders, she pushes your jacket to the ground. Taking a step back, she moves her hands up to the fasten of her cloak, undoing it.
"You kept it?" You ask, somewhat surprised.
"Mmhmm." She nods. "It made me feel close to you."
"Summer, I..."
"Shh." She walks up to you and places a finger over your lips. "No more words. No more apologies. Let's just enjoy this time we have together."
Your lips meet again, softly moving in sync as you explore each other's mouths. The rest of your clothes are discarded in a pile on the ground. Summer's hands trace along your muscular upper back and rounded shoulders while you hold her close to you, fingers kneading the flesh of her lower back. In her eagerness, Summer presses herself against your groin and begins grinding herself against you.
"Make love to me (F/N)." She says softly.
Scooping her up into your arms, you carry her bridal style and lay her gently down on the bed. Wrapping her arms around your neck, Summer pulls you down on top of her, one leg wrapping around yours. As she kisses you, one hand moves down and begins stroking your hardened member, causing you to groan into the kiss. Summer smiles and laughs softly, her small, delicate hands continuing to move up and down your shaft. Grabbing her arm, you stop her motions.
"As good as that feels, if you keep that up, I won't last very long." You tell her. "And I would like to make you feel good too."
"Then what are you waiting for?"
Positioning yourself at her entrance, you gently push into her, stopping when you notice her wince.
"Summer?" You ask in concern. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." She nods, breathing heavily. "I just haven't done this in a long time. Not since, well, not since the last time you and I were together."
This makes you feel guilty. Summer had saved herself for you, and you had repaid her by having meaningless sex with another woman. Your guilt is apparently evident on your face, as Summer comments on it.
"Stop feeling guilty (F/N)." She says. "I already told you, I didn't want to do anything unless it was with you."
"But Summer..."
"Just start moving."
Now was not the time to dwell upon the past. Now was the time to appreciate the gorgeous woman lying underneath you and the love she held for you. Pulling out slightly, you slowly press back into her. Repeating the action several times, each time pushing a little deeper into her. Summer begins to moan in pleasure as the pace of your thrusts increases. Despite the fact that it's been over six years since you last made love to Summer, you still remember how to make her feel her best, having committed it to memory long ago. The time between then and now seems to fade away as you find her most sensitive spot, causing her to inhale sharply, exactly the way she had all those years ago. Biting on her lip, Summer wraps her legs around your waist, locking her ankles and pulling you further into her. Her already tight walls hug your member harder as she reaches her orgasm. Her cries of pleasure and the additional tightness of her walls threaten to push you over the edge.
"Summer." You breathe heavily. "Summer, I'm about to... I'm going to..."
You attempt to pull out of her, but she wraps her arms and legs around you and pulls you deep within her.
"Do it." She moans. "Inside me. I want to feel your warmth inside me."
With one final thrust, you bury yourself inside her and spill your seed deep within. Looking into her eyes, she smiles up at you and pulls you close to her, kissing your lips.
Time Skip:
You wake up the next morning to a knock on the door. Opening your eyes, the first thing you notice is Summer's naked body intertwined with your own. You smile at her sleeping frame and kiss her on the head. Another knock causes Summer to stir. Rubbing her eyes, she looks around, almost as if she's unsure as to where she is. Then her eyes land on you and the memories of last night come flooding back. A third knock comes, this one more aggressive. Groaning, Summer lazily rolls out of her bed with a whine, causing you to laugh. She never was one for mornings. Getting up with her, the two of you retrieve your clothes before making your way to the door. You reach the living room just as the person outside knocks for a fourth time. Yawning, her hair sticking up in awkward places, Summer opens the door.
"Tai!" She announces in surprise.
"Hey Summer." He says, somewhat guiltily. "Is uh, is (F/N) here?"
"Yeah." She says slowly. "Why?"
"I was hoping I could talk to him."
"What for?" She asks somewhat aggressively. "You made it pretty clear that you didn't want anything to do with him."
"I know Summer." He says defensively. "And I shouldn't have said those things. It's just, what happened that night, it was confusing. I needed some time to think, that's all. But I'm here now. And I'd like to see my friend."
"It's alright Summer." You say from in the house.
Summer shoots one last glare at Tai before stepping aside and allowing him to enter.
"Tai." You nod.
"Hey (F/N)." He says uncomfortably, rubbing the back of his neck.
"How have you been?" You ask.
"Better than you." He laughs. "Um, sorry. I didn't mean..."
The rest of his words die off and he instead coughs into his hand.
"Look man, I'm sorry for not coming around earlier." He says.
"It's fine." You assure him. "I understand. To be honest, I'm surprised you're even here. After everything I did you would be completely justified if you said you never wanted to see my face again."
"(F/N), what happened to you?" He asks. "I'm sorry, but I need to know. Why'd you leave? Why didn't you ever let us know you were okay. And why, for the love of God, why did you try to kill us?"
You take a deep breath. "The things I've done are unforgivable. I've caused you all so much pain and there's no excuse for that."
"But why did you..."
"Because I felt betrayed." You tell him. "I know none of you ever meant to hurt me, but to me it felt like Summer was using me and the rest of you just stood by and let it happen. I just, I couldn't stay."
"So how'd you manage to run into Salem?"
"I didn't." You reply. "She found me."
"What?" Summer and Tai ask simultaneously.
"She approached me in our Junior year, made me an offer to join her."
"And you agreed?" Tai asks in disbelief.
"No!" You say quickly. "Well, not at first. She didn't specify what she wanted from me, but I knew whatever it was, it wouldn't be anything good. I wasn't that far gone, not yet. But midway through Senior year, after you and Amethyst broke up, it just, it pushed me over the edge."
"How did my breaking up with some random girl drive you to join Salem?" Tai asks.
"It didn't." You tell him. "It was just..."
"It was me." Summer says, head hung. "It was me, wasn't it? I drove you away. It was my fault you left."
"No." You say quickly. "None of this was your fault. This was on me. All of it was my doing, mine, and no one else's."
"But you needed me to be there. I remember, you asked me if you were a good man and I just ignored you. I should never have left you."
"And I should never have let my anger control me the way it did. The way it has for the past six years." You release a heavy sigh. "I'm the one who accepted Salem's offer. I'm the one who gave in to my darkness. I'm the one who killed and slaughtered in some demented quest for power."
"But you would never have done that if it weren't for me." Summer cries. "If I didn't make you hate me, none of this would have happened."
"Hate you?" You ask sadly. "Summer, I never hated you. I could never hate you. You always brought out the best in me. Stop blaming yourself. If you're looking to blame someone then blame Salem. Blame me."
There's a moment of silence where Summer sniffs and nods her head while Tai looks between the two of you.
"Well, there is one good thing that came out of all this." Tai says with a smile.
"And what's that?"
"You finally got the girl."
You groan and cover your face with your hand while Tai laughs and claps you on the shoulder.
