You ran as fast as you could, you wouldn't stop, not for anything. Your heart felt like it was about to burst out of your chest and you tried so hard to calm your breathing but it was no use from the speed you were running.

You were running away from camp. Well, more like running away from Peter. You absolutely despise him. He treats you like dirt, then he flirts with you, then he hurts you, then he doesn't speak to you, you just have no idea what is going on inside that boy's head.

He had warned you not to leave camp "or else" but like you were going to listen to him. After all he's done to you you're not going to lend him your ear or even stay. You were running away and that was it; no turning back.

While running you hear a twig snap behind you so you stop and quickly turn around. No one is there.

Now all you can hear is your intense breathing, so you turn around but get stopped by a figure;

Pan.

You gasp and jump back a little and he smiles wickedly at you.

"I warned you not to leave camp," he says.

"I don't listen to warnings." You speak between harsh breaths.

"I told you I would find you, and I have. Come back to camp."

"No."

Peter looks at you and chuckles softly, then he raises a sword at you; the tip of the blade grazing the skin at your throat.

You find yourself holding your breath, but then slowly exhale to relax your body so that if he does cut you, it won't hurt as much.

"Come back to camp, (Y/N)." Pan asks sternly.

"No." You repeat.

Peter looks infuriated so he uses his free hand to push on your shoulder making you hit your back on a tree. Then he moves the sword horizontally so that the full blade is now touching your throat.

You're in a death position.

He could strike any moment now, all he has to do is push down the blade on your neck and you would die.

You keep your eyes locked on his and he does the same. Your breathing has calmed a bit from stopping but now your chest heaves up and down from your heavy breathing.

Would he really kill you? Is he really like that? If you were in his shoes, would you strike?

"Why?" You ask quietly.

"Why what?" Pan asks you with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Why do you want me to come back to camp so desperately?"

Pan says nothing. He looks almost flustered. You are so confused. One minute Pan is horrible to you, then the next he's trying to kill you, and now he's almost blushing! What is going through his mind?

"Because I want you to stay," He speaks.

You open your mouth to say something but it gets shut when Pan continues his sentence;

"I want you to stay with me..."

Now you're blushing. What do you do? What do you say? Do you even feel the same way? You have no idea. Considering all the nasty things Pan has done, you've never taken the time to really look at him.

You mean, sure he's handsome, but it's never distracted you before. How could it? You were so busy on trying to run away.

Pan looks at you throughout your entire thinking process. What is going on in her head?, he thinks.

Both of you are confused with each other when suddenly a rustle from the bushes begins to sound.

You and Peter immediately look in the direction of the sound. Pan moves in front of you, carefully moving the sword away from your neck, and raises it towards the bushes; ready to strike.
