01 | the lifeless miracle

Dear Lifeless Lady,

It was a new day; a new morning; and a new air to breathe. The sun had the glorious golden rays to touch my skin. I walked upon the soft green grass as the harsh blows of the wind swayed the fully-bloomed flowers with the purity of these white daisies.

Truly, it might be a beautiful day, but I just realized that it was just a plain, ordinary, beautiful one day. This day was not even special. It was just like the same day as the yesterday.

It was always like that. It was a never ending cycle. It had always been a boring and tiresome day.

Days were still the same . . . not until I met you.

I saw you drifting solitarily on the sea. My thought of you was you were just a dead person. Wasting no time, I hastily went to your location. I picked you up and learned that there was still a life in thee.

What happened? I saw an empty soul in you, the moment you were laid on my arms, but why thou were you still alive?

It didn't matter. You only needed to be saved.

I held you tight and moved my legs, running my dear life to connect my hand on you before you run out of breaths. You were cold as a corpse body.

I came to my house that was built near the sea. I quickly summoned my parents to heal you up. Never worry, because they were the doctors you can count with.

Rest assured and leave your back to them, and without thinking, just keep fighting your own fight. Because as long as you didn't fall, none of us would.

Even though you were beyond saving, you needed to stay alive.

As these doctors exhaled thinly, they were fearing that even just a one wrong move, you would be cut out of air.

There was a moment that you gave up, losing all your heartbeats and leaving yourself on the flat line. But these people who were deliberately giving you a life didn't. For them, they couldn't and shouldn't let a person dies on their own dear hands. That was their sole loyalty to their work of reaching life to the lifeless.

After a long minutes, you barely survived.

Yes, you managed to escape the wings of the crows. A smile of relief etched on my lips. I was glad for you.

The heavens, even the hell, might hated you so much that they didn't accept you as their beloved guest.

My parents left you under my care after reviving you. I sat next to you as I examined your face.

You were a beautiful lady. But the same as a beautiful day, you were just an ordinary beautiful lady. Nothing was special on you, except the scarred soul that left a huge mark on your dead expression.

I could tell. You were a lonely person.

I didn't understand, but I was attracted to you with no reason.

Maybe because . . . I saw a fallen angel on you. A fallen angel that was roaring for redemption . . . for your salvation.

I lifted up my hand and tinkled your hair. I give off a smile, "The time won't fade on you and your sun will never set." I told her.

I might played the rescuer this time and managed to save you physically, but I would be willing to wait for the time you would open your eyes.

That was because the next time you flutter your eyes open, the next thing that I would try is to save your very soul, my precious lady who does miracle.

Yours Truly,
Credell Haelan
