The brothers and (Y/N) made their way outside the cabin. Jeff sighed a bit as they started towards the car, he looked around in boredom while he hummed silently to himself.

"So, are you taking me home now?" (Y/n) asked as Liu nodded much to Jeffs' annoyance- his humming seemed to calm his annoyance down a bit, not by much though.

"Your family should explain the situation, you have your stuff right?" Liu asked as she nodded in confirmation. Jeff opened the passenger door while pulling his hood over his head, having one hand in his jacket. (Y/n) got in the back as Liu stepped in the driver spot, starting the car up.

"We will have people to keep watch of you as you are now a target." Liu stated as she rolled her eyes, her lips mumbling a sentence, "it's not like I really need it." Liu shook his head, the flashback of their past life saying the exact same thing. He ignored the comment and began his way towards her house, hopefully the brothers will be there.

Jeff chuckled a bit, knowing the story from the past. To him, it's like another movie- he had been through this before and couldn't help but chuckle at it. It's all too comical to him! This caught (Y/N)s attention, her gaze shifting towards the raven haired boy.

"What do you mean?" She asked in confusion, Liu's hands tighten around the steering wheel while his eyes narrowed on the road, his focus wavered but he managed to keep his cool.

It was clear he didn't want her to know, Jeff snuck a glance towards his brother— his smile widen.

"Oh nothing important, just thought of a funny meme." Jeff snickered some more as (Y/N) eased back into her seat, while letting out a small 'oh'. It seemed to have struck a nerve in her, she let it go however as there were more important things to worry about right now.

After a while, they arrived at her house. As they pulled up, it seems the brothers were outside discussing stuff with their mother who seemed to be in panic. They noticed the car pull up as Jeff pulled his hood over his head a bit while sinking into the passenger seat. Liu stopped the car a few feet away from them, trying to keep their distance a bit- it wouldn't be good to get too close.

(Y/N) unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the door, closing it behind her as she gave a small wave to the woods brothers. Liu slightly lifted up his right hand from the steering wheel, signifying his goodbye. (Y/N) turned from them and rushed towards the house. The car started moving once more and made a U-turn to leave before anyone could get a chance to talk to them- they didn't need to waste anymore time and quite frankly, didn't want to converse in any conversation. They were mentally drained for the night.

(Y/N) jogged up to her family as her mom came over, worried to her core. She put her hands on the girls shoulder and scanned her face- frantically looking around her to make sure she's not harmed. Her heart was racing a bit. She was in panic from what her sons had told her, more importantly from what she witness just now. Her daughter was with the woods brothers- nothing can be good from that, but everything was put in motion.

There's no way to stop it now.

The only thing now is to prolong it all, it was a race against time- she knew this, her sons knew this, the killer brothers knew this. Everyone was aware but (Y/N), not her fault though, she knew she's to blame. She never took the time to explain any of this to her daughter, in fact, she kept it hidden.

Was it for (Y/N) safety? Or was it for her own sanity?

Perhaps, she believed if (Y/N) never knew anything then maybe she could have convinced herself that none of this was true- that maybe things can be normal. She unintentionally or intentionally made a facade for herself, perhaps one day she'll make it a reality.

Will that day ever come?

No one knows, perhaps not even the Gods know. It didn't matter at that moment, she hugged her daughter as her sons came by her.

"Let's head inside, it's getting cold outside." James quietly spoke, not wanting to ruin the moment, "it's best we talk inside." With that said, the group made their way inside their house.

Jordan grabbed James arm, stopping him on the porch while the other two went inside. Jordan needed to talk to his brother for a second. James glanced at his brother and turned his attention to him while Jordan began the conversation.

"You think things will go well? You don't think things will repeat like before right?" He felt a small pit in his stomach, an uneasy feeling started looming over him. James could feel his brothers worry rolling off him like some snow in an avalanche. He sighed a bit but put up a small smile, he was never good with comforting people- let alone his siblings but he tried his best, I mean, that's all you can do in this situation.

Having a bit of hope is what is needed in this moment, the false security is what he needed right now.

James always hated to lie, he too felt uneasy.

"Everything will be alright, we know the past- we have leverage it seems like. Lucky for us..." he laughed a bit, "we get a heads up this time around- thanks to the journals." He patted Jordan's back lightly.

"You're right," he breathed out, feeling relieved a bit, "we can change things this time around." With that, the boys went inside to meet up with their family.
