Herro!
Hope you enjoy this chapter :D

I just want to recap this fucking year. I know I shouldn't complain as other had it worse but.. for fuck sakes I can't catch a fucking break from death.

I've known in real life 9-10 people/ animals that had fucking died this year. Neighbors, sisters dogs (2 of them), grandpas, friends, and my dad had all died this year. I thought it was over. But guess what? We're putting down my dog today so fucking hell. I've cried so much this year over lost loved ones. I'm not even counting the famous people that died this year, I'm counting the people I Know in real life, this year.

I just wanted a break from people and animals dying around me.

2019 just fucking sucks— I mean, there were some good moments but that didn't last long >.>

Anyways, enough of me being depressing, enjoy this book. I'll probably be offline grieving over my sisters and my dog. His name was T-Bone...

Just then, pounding on the door could be heard as Toby attempted to kick the door down. James gritted his teeth as he clutched his injured arm close to his chest. His eyes narrowed behind his glasses.

"Okay listen, get the bed sheets and open the balcony glass door. Tie one of the bed sheets ends to the black railing and climb down. Once you're on the ground, get in the car and drive away. Take the journal and necklace with you." James told her as he kept his glare upon the door.

"What?! Are you fucking crazy! We are on the second floor, I'm terrified! It's dark and I can't even leave you here to deal with those monsters! They'll kill you." She argued back as James turned around.

"It wasn't a question, it was a demand. Do it, now." His voice went cold as (Y/N) shivered in fear from his stance and tone of voice. She had never heard him be so fierce towards her. He was quiet, but he never was this cold to her— always loving— when he wasn't in his room.

"Okay." She stuttered out as she quickly took the bed apart and opened the sliding glass door. She began to tie one of the corners of the sheet around the railing. She, subconsciously, looked over and sucked in her breath.

She was terrified.

She went inside as the pounding on the door grew louder with laugher. She gathered the book, necklace, and keys while her little brother got into a fighting stance in front of the door. She turned towards him, her eyes catching the back of his head as he had his back turn towards her so his attention would be on the door.

Some tears slipped from her eyes as she ran to her brother and hugged him from behind, his eyes widen in realization as she silently cried into his back.

"Please," she begged, "please be alive and come find me." With that, she turned around and made her way on the balcony as she shut the glass sliding door behind her.

She managed to get on the other side of the railing as the bed sheet like rope was lightly blowing in the mild wind. She stuffed the journal in her pants as she put the necklace and keys in her bra (I'm flat chested, it'll still work) with one hand. Her other hand gripped the railing so she wouldn't fall.

"Okay," she mumbled, "just take a deep breath and don't look down." Just as those words escaped her lips, she looked down.

"Fuck."

Jordan pressed the emergency button on the elevator, he needed to get out of there. His gut feeling felt wrong. His siblings were danger, he could sense it. However, he couldn't get out of here.

"What the hell am I supposed to go!" He thought out aloud, "There has to be a way out." He looked around the walls of the elevator as he held the pizza boxes in his hands. He then looked up in the ceiling and he got an idea.

"First," he mumbled as he put the boxes on the floor and pulled out a slice of pizza from one of them, "I'm going to eat, I already fucking paid for it." He stated as he ate one of the slices. As he finished he moved the boxes to the side and hosted himself up in one of the corners of the elevator in the silver railing. He tried to keep his balance as his head had reached the ceiling— more like he had to bend over a bit as he was too tall. His hands stretched out on the walls in the corner to help keep him from falling. He then used his right hand to push on one of the tile ceiling and moved it to the side, hosting himself up, he escaped through the ceiling.

She took a deep breath as the pounding continued. She wrapped her fingers around the bed sheets and slowly stepped off the balcony. She yelped in fear as her hands held on for dear life as she carefully inched down like an inch worm. She clenched her teeth together as she slowly made her way down, the wind rocking her body from side to side. She heard shouts as the sound of the door breaking could be heard. She tensed up a bit and continued to go down the bed sheets.

Eventually her feet made it to the ground and she took the book, keys, and necklace out of her hidden spots and held them in her arms, she raced towards the car as she heard the balcony sliding doors open. She took a glance back and noticed Hoodie looking over, watching her form as he cursed.

She unlocked the driver side of the car and got in. She pushed the key in and tried to turn the car on. It made some noises but refused to turn on. She cursed as she gathered the book and necklace and fled the car as she heard screams.

She had hoped it wasn't her siblings.

She scanned the dark parking lot, no lights. She noticed the woods area. It was either go back into the hotel or run somewhere. If the proxies were in the hotel then her better option is the woods.

She gulped as she sprinted into the night, pushing past branches and leaves as she clutched the necklace and book close to her chest.

She needed to find a way out of here, she doesn't really know where to go though.

She kept running, she needed to go anywhere that's away from here. The darkness didn't help in finding her way as she pushed past many things.

That all failed as she ran into something, knocking her down with an 'oof' escaping hers, and someone else's, lips.

Quickly she gathered her things and stood on her feet. Her eyes adjusting to the darkness as she could make out a silhouette of a man, a man she had seen before.

"It's you..."
