Jimin has happened to develop small habit on talking to Joshua on the phone everyday if they don't see each other, literally.

Every. Single. Day.

Even during class, they're FaceTime call but just on mute.

The times Jungkook has woken up from bed, he sees Jimin on the couch or in kitchen just talking to Joshua on the phone, as though as if they don't even see each other in general every day. At times when they can't see each other, they literally stay on the call the whole day.

Even when Jungkook would wake up late at night to use the bathroom, he would hear Jimin talking to Joshua on the phone.

It wasn't concerning at first, thinking it's normal since they're in their honeymoon stage of their relationship, but it became more of an issue when Jimin wouldn't even let Jungkook near him anymore, let alone talk to him. He can't even talk to Jimin privately because Joshua would be on the call. If for a miracle the phone dies, Jimin would only wait beside it as it turns on to call him right back.

Now Jungkook doesn't even know what to refer to that type of behavior, especially since the pair already have three months together and it only progresses with Jimin behaving like this.

Jungkook has voice out his concerns with Taehyung, but the other only said he's just in that lovey dovey stage, where they always want to be together, that it's normal.

Yet why does it feel like Jungkook is losing Jimin day by day?

This has been going on long enough.

Sure they're just roommates and they aren't even that close to share everything with each other let alone to care for one another, but Jungkook can feel Jimin's presence just more and more gone.

Even when they're together, the light behind Jimin's eyes are gone and he's grown definitely more thinner than before.

And Jungkook knows it's not because of futbol practice.

That alone scares him.

So one day while Jimin wasn't on his phone for once since it was charging, Jungkook knocked on his door and slowly creaks it open after he hears a small hum in the other side. He could see the massive contrast of the room to how it once was before.

It's neater.

So much more neater...... Almost as if it was purposely done like this? There's no clothes everywhere, everything seems almost untouched at all.

Well like that isn't a bad thing but..... It's slightly concerning.

Jimin lays on his bed, staring at the ceiling with his blue covers wrapping over his small body. When he heard the door opening, he lowers his head up and looks at Jungkook, breaking that familiar smile.

That's not his usual smile....

"Hey Jungkook," Jimin greets, making Jungkook smile and take step inside. He slowly approaches the bed and sits at the edge, keeping a bit of a respectful distance between the two.

He didn't know what to say, especially since Jimin is once again staring at his phone as he waits for it to breathe with life.

Well, it's now or literally never.

So Jungkook clears his throat, "Is everything okay.... With you and Joshua?"

Jimin shoots his head up to the mention of his boyfriend, a wide grin on his face now, "Of course, why wouldn't we be okay?"

For some reason Jungkook began to grow emotional, especially as Jimin stares at his face with that dim light behind his eyes and incredibly sullen cheeks.

He wasn't like this.

What's going on?

Where's..... Where's my Jimin?

My roommate?

My friend?

Was I not careful enough to look after him?

"Well..... We don't talk.... At all. Whenever I get near you while you talk to Joshua, you instantly go the other way," Jungkook breathes out heavily, seeing the slight unease expression spread Jimin's eyes, "I don't want you to be hurt Jimin."

"I'm not," He says calmly, offering him a reassuring smile, "I already told you, my family-"

"Why do I feel like that's bullshit?" Jungkook asks, genuinely asking him for honest answers with his chest growing in pain now, "Is he treating you good?"

Jimin's face now drops to a very deep upset expression, nearly side to annoyed, "Well if you think it's bullshit than you can find yourself out that fucking door-"

Jungkook places a hand down to Jimin's ankle from the comforters, pleading now, "Jimin.... Don't just push me away-"

"Can you please don't touch me?"

What?

But...... Jimin likes physical affection..... He said it makes him feel loved in a way.

Maybe he's just not in the mood right now?

Jungkook looks down to his hand and back to Jimin's face, seeing it almost flood with slight panic, in which only grew worse when his phone suddenly started ringing.

Joshua.

"Leave, I'm going to talk to Joshua-"

"Let me say hi to him," Jungkook retorts coldly, scooting closer to him.

He doesn't want to leave Jimin here, alone, in this room where he spends literally most of his days. Jungkook was just going to ask Joshua if he could talk to Jimin later, that's it.

But that clearly didn't seem like an option for Jimin.

Jimin places a firm hand on his shoulder, preventing him from getting any closer to him than he already is.

Which isn't a lot.

There Jungkook saw something, the clear pleading behind his wide eyes as he holds the ringing phone in his hand.

It's been left ringing far too long now.

"Jungkook, if you care about me like you say you do, leave. Just please leave," Jimin is pleading now, his enormous eyes sinking into Jungkook cold stare, "Trust me."

Jungkook didn't want to. He wanted to do anything but leave Jimin alone right now, who looks as though he's about to walk the plank. However to his wishes Jungkook gets off the bed and walks out the door, right when he heard Joshua's familiar kind voice from the other line.

Maybe Jimin just doesn't want to be around him anymore?

Perhaps Jungkook has been too clingy or is over looking his behavior a bit too much?

Fuck he doesn't even know anymore.

He just hopes that Jimin is okay and will be okay.

When he got back to his room, he sees Taehyung laying down on his bed as he texts away on his phone. When Jungkook opens the door, he sits up with a small smile.

"Anything?"

Jungkook only sighs heavy and moves to lay beside him, "He just says it's the usual, his family problems. Maybe I'm over looking this or I just miss him?"

What if he is looking this over a bit too much?

What if Jimin has always been like this and now that Jungkook is noticing?

But Jimin was always an affectionate little fluff ball?

What if it's because he's in a relationship? Obviously he won't be as affectionate as before but.... Like this? Isn't this a bit too much?

Taehyung frowns to the other's words, especially to his worried gaze in his eyes. Yeah he knows Jimin for a while, literally when they started college, but they were the emotional type for stuff like this. Yet he can see how much Jungkook is affected by this behavior and he just needs to learn to let it go.

If Jimin comes around, he'll come around when he decides to.

It's better to give him his space now.

A sudden idea struck Taehyung's mind and he gets off the bed with a small smile, grabbing Jungkook's hands, "Come on."

A lazy whine escapes the ravenettes lips, "What is it?"

"Lets go out. We need some time to just have fun together since all we do is study or lay around."

Jungkook huffs and sits up, "And what type of fun are you referring to?"

A sudden wide smile beams Taehyung's lips in excitement, "The carnival."
