No one likes that question,

if it's about "issues"

deeply ingrained in our society.

"What if he was white?

Would you still shoot him?"

"What if YOU were gay?

And people told you to die?"

"What if it was YOUR child?

Would you still say it was a hoax?"

The reality hurts their eyes,

a deer in the headlights.

It stings their hearts but,

they can't back down now!

They are too proud to admit,

they were wrong.

So, they keep shooting,

keep saying, "KYS",

keep claiming it was a hoax.

They are blinded so severely,

disconnected from reality.

Their claims are empty bottles.
