Andy
Andy hurried to orchestra. He had gotten caught up with saying goodbye to Camilla, he had never felt so happy and was now running late. His sheet music threatened to slip from his hands but they didn't and Andy just got there when the only stern looking teacher he had seen at Ravenwood called his name.
"Andrew O'Reilly?" Andy raised his hand and she gestured impatiently at the piano. "Let's see if we need you," Andy sat at the piano and set up his sheet music. "What will you be performing?" Andy swallowed, feeling nervous.
"Um, Fix You by Coldplay," He ignored the sniggers and started to play. He found himself singing along and heard someone else join in. A guy with stunning blue eyes winked at Andy and he finished the song. "So, yeah. How was that?" The teacher smiled, writing something down which made Andy worry about being signed up for choir.
"Looks like we need you," Andy smiled at the clapping and noticed the guy watching him. "Make sure you don't get snapped up by choir...You're your mother's son," Andy blinked and she turned to everyone else. "Well, that was the last person so we've got our orchestra for this year. Andrew, wait behind," Andy stayed on the stool as everyone else left and the teacher turned around. "You don't know me but I'm Jamie Andrews... Your father was my cousin." Andy started to smile.
"I've got some news then," Jamie frowned and Andy rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm kinda named after you, I think. My full name's Andrew James O'Reilly...They were doing names ending with Y so they couldn't do Jamie...Do you have any idea why they didn't tell me and my sisters about going here?" Jamie smiled, leaning against the piano.
"Well, apart from the gym thing," She tapped her chin before wincing. "They were caught... Together." Andy covered his face.
"Well, that would make sense... I've got to talk to my sisters and this will hopefully not traumatize all of us forever," Jamie nodded and collected her stuff. "Bye then," He left as his phone started to play Figure Me Out and he answered, knowing who it should be. "Hello?" There was a moment of silence before she started talking.
"Andrew James O'Reilly, are you dating my daughter?" Andy wasn't given a chance to reply as Sofia continued. "If you are, you better not break her heart. You'll have to worry about your own sisters going after you. Do you understand?" Andy smiled before answering.
"I understand. I swear I'll do everything I can to not break Camilla's heart," Sofia humphed and Andy felt slightly angry. "What? If I get murdered tragically young, it would possibly break her heart and I couldn't really do anything. Anyway, I have to go before I get murdered by Camilla, bye!" Andy hung up quickly and double checked he had ten minutes until he had to see them all. "I hate myself." He muttered, sneaking into the bathroom while lighting a cigarette. He had said he was going to quit but...Orchestra had been more stressful than he thought it would be. Someone cleared his throat behind Andy.
"Can I get a light?" Andy jumped, turning to see the guy who sang Fix You with him, with the stunning blue eyes and nodded, offering one, feeling lightheaded. "Thanks. You're AJ's brother, right, Andy?" Andy nodded and the guy offered his hand. "I'm Jack, kinda got that Martinez guy to kiss her." Andy shook his hand.
"Cristian's my best friend and the brother of the girl I'm seeing," Jack grinned and Andy realised he was still shaking his hand. "Sorry. So, what do you play?" Jack held up a case.
"Flute. Asking if anyone wants to see my flute sounds very sexual," Andy laughed and Jack looked happy. "So, what's your girl's name?" Andy smiled, blowing out smoke.
"Camilla, we've known each other basically from birth," Andy frowned as something occurred to him. "I'm not really sure when I fell for her. Anyway, so you're in Moon?" Jack nodded, finishing his cigarette.
"Yeah, my uncle pulled some strings so I could be with my older sister," Andy finished his cigarette as well and Jack smiled as his phone pinged. "Sorry, that's all we have time for. Thanks for lighting my cigarette and listening to my insecurities involving my flute." Andy grinned back.
"Thanks for listening to me wondering when I fell for Camilla and making my best friend kiss my sister," Andy took out gum and offered a piece to Jack. "Since they don't allow smoking, want a piece?" Jack took the piece, their hands brushed and Andy ignored the tingling from the contact. "I have to go meet up with Cam, nice to meet you." Andy basically ran from the bathroom and into Cristian.
"Woah, Andy, you okay? You look ready to faint," Andy nodded before having to hold onto the wall. "When was the last time you ate? Let's get something to eat." Andy shook his head, forcing a smile as always.
"I'm fine, just excited from the fact I'm part of the orchestra," He noticed that Cristian looked sad, he had since Andy and Camilla said they were together. "Are you okay? You look sad. I thought you'd be happy here rather than at our old school...Is this about me and Cam? If you aren't happy with me dating your sister, I'd understand. If you dated Lib, I wouldn't know what to do. With AJ...Well, she'd kick my ass before I'd do anything." Cristian smiled, resting his hands on Andy's shoulders.
"You are my best friend, I don't care that you're dating my sister as long as both of you are happy," Andy smiled and Cristian stepped back. "The reason I've been sad is... I used to have a crush on Raven and her with Liam isn't easy." Andy blinked a couple of times.
"Why have we never talked crushes?" Cristian shrugged and Andy gestured at himself. "Mine makes sense since... Well, Cam." Cristian nodded and they started walking outside.
"I know that you wouldn't tell but please don't mention it to the girls. Especially AJ," Andy raised an eyebrow and Cristian shook his head, looking annoyed. "She would tease me mercilessly about it and bring it up whenever I breathe." Andy laughed as Liberty barrelled towards them, holding a book.
"Found-Mum-Diary-Trust-Nothing-," Andy shared a look with Cristian before Liberty handed him the book. He opened it and found himself tracing the signature, Amy Donnelly...His mum. "It wasn't just the gym...Someone was murdered while they were here...Dad's twin brother, Aaron James O'Reilly...Who mum calls..." She trailed off as Cristian finished the sentence.
"AJ. Have you shown this to her?" She shook her head and Cristian slowly nodded. "I'll do it. I have to talk to her anyway...Did your mum know who did it?" Liberty shrugged.
"It was the last entry. Judging by the dates, the gym thing was the day after." Andy flicked to the last entry and blinked at the date.
"Um...Isn't that seven months before we were born?" Liberty blinked at the date as well and Andy shut the diary as something terrifying entered his mind. "Guys...What if dad wasn't dad? What if Aaron James was dad?" Liberty blanched and Cristian took the diary, heading towards AJ who had appeared at the end of the hall without hesitation. Andy watched AJ's face light up as Cristian approached and wondered if there was something he should've known.
