" I touched you? What do you mean?" Oh, my god Halima how could you? What's wrong with you touching people in their sleep?! Especially god damn Raven.

"Like I said you touched me. I was asleep, I wake up to a body warming up to mine. What do you think I said when I saw it was yours?"

Hiding my shame, see I didn't have my stuff animals so I found the next best thing. " What is she doing here?" I try not to make eye contact for too long.

Smirking, "No, I knew she wanted me."

"Oh my god, you-you argh." Pouting and crossing my arms he's so damn perverted. " Why didn't you kick me out?"

Blushing slightly, " I did try but then I couldn't." He doesn't look at me. " You just felt right, right there." 

Wait, what, what does he mean?

We travel to the store the store. If I'm here might as well buy clothes for my family. I buy them all nice clothes that I know will look good on them.

Raven turns to my slightly coldly but I can see a slight blush on his cheeks. "Okay, your turn."

"My turn for what ?" I questioned.

"I wonder sometimes if you're really human. Your idiocy annoys me sometimes." Pointing to the store,"Clothes for you duh."

What? Clothes for who me? Maybe he's blind that's the only reason he'll be telling me to fit in these ballerina size clothing. "Have you lost your mind? Do you not see my body? I Will. Not. Be. Able. To. Fit. Any. Of. These. Clothes."

Spelling it out so he can get my drift. For someone so smart he can be so dumb.

Rolling his eyes and ignoring my remark."Come on, in a years time. I promise you will be able to fit most of these clothes. "  He smiles at me like a friend would smile at me. But we aren't really friends right? The way he acts.

Are we business partners with a decent relationship? Right? He does the investing in my future. I live it. Along the way, we have smiled at a roundtable or something?

"How by sheer willpower it or at gunpoint?" I flutter my eyes for extra effect.

Seeming like he's holding back from laughing. He straightens himself up,
"Stop being insecure. You're beautiful."

"How can you lie to me like that? I'm not even slightly attractive nothing to me is beautiful. You should know this." I cross my arms turning away going to go look for Beastly.

When I feel my arm being pulled not roughly but caring. Rolling his eyes in an agitated way. "Why don't you believe in yourself? You're everything a guy could want, they just don't know that."

I freeze that's the nicest thing he ever said to me. " Your bluffing." He doesn't need to know he made an impact on me.

He crosses his arms not really looking at me. "We just have to work on your body so you can stay healthy."

Excuseeeeee me,"Who's we?"

"Us." Pointing between the two of us.

"Who?"

"Me and you."

"I'm sorry what?"

"Really Amil stop playing."

"What's the game?"

"I really can't with you." He starts to walk away mumbling. "I knew that this year was going to be tough but damn."

"I can't hear you," I say in a sing-songy like voice.

He sighs and then smiles an evil smile. Slightly scaring me," What's with you?"Not saying a word. He drags me to an area where there are beautiful dresses.

He points at one that is breathtaking I hold my breath it's beautiful. He says

"I bet that at the end of the year. You will fit this dress and look stunning in it."

"Wow, you have some much fate in me." Truly astonished isn't he supposed to be the smart one?

"Yeah that's why I chose you for a reason- I mean I was assigned to you."
He doesn't look at me.

Does he regret choosing me does he think I'm too much to handle.
"Yeah.....that's going to be impossible."

Putting a thoughtful expression,"Tell you what. I will buy it and on the last day of our year together. I want you to wear it."

He's going to be disappointed in me. He can't say I didn't warn her. "Fine I'll try to wear it and when it doesn't fit I will wear something else."

"Deal,"Barely escapes his lips before he's staring at something behind me towards the window. Before I can look at it Ravens is covering my eyes with his hands.

Who told him he could touch me. I start to say,"Get your hands off me."

He's beside me so close to my face I can hear his breathing. My breathing stops for a sec. Why so close. I feel so self-conscious.

"I want to see you one day wear this"

He removes his hands from covering up my eyes. I start laughing uncontrollably he wants me to wear something, he knows I will never wear.

Never in my life will I do such thing. I'm one percent confident in this body. I had never even had a use for it and will continue not to.

IT'S-A BIKINI

To anyone else, it looks like we are a couple. He's smiling and laughing too but occasionally looks at the window.

I look at the window to see a beautiful Korean girl. She has a touch of overpowering confidence that shines through her eyes. I instantly know it's the Grace, his saving Grace.

Something in my heart hurts he was using me.

The girl looks at me. She looks hurt, her eyes are a bit watery. I guess we're both hurt but she doesn't have a right to be hurt. She hurt the bastard. Who's hurting me?

For what feels like forever I stand there looking at the two of them look at each other. Straight out of the dramas when the exes forget about the new girl.

Am I the new girl? Raven doesn't have any interest in me, so I'm definitely not the new girl. I'm the assignment that's all I will ever be.

She then leaves her and Ravens eyes lingering at each other. I am livid. I turn to look at Raven who is now buying this beautiful neckless.

It's a golden necklace with specs of blue with a blue gem in the middle. I'm hoping that it's fake it looks so expensive. I hope to God he's not buying that for me.

I take a deep breath and close my eyes. Feeling soft hands put something on my neck.

I open my eyes to see raven looking at me,"It suits you." He gives me a small smile completely brushing aside what he did.

I can't believe him easily trying buy my trust back, "How dare you?" Anger clearly evident to me. I'm just something to mess with. To confuse, to shake up?!

Why did I trust him? He's not Beastly he won't do me any good. He steps back,"Dare me what?"

I pointing between the two of us. "Make the two of us look like a couple?"

"I don't understand you."He looks like he perfectly understands me. I can feel I'm making him uncomfortable. I can tell he's not used to this. It's not normal in his life to experience girls yelling at him.

Whatever I and his relationship is anything but normal. I seethed through my teeth."You used me."

How could I be so foolish everyone uses me. But I thought Raven was different he has everything. Why would he need anything from me?

He's just like them, the girls I used to call friends. They used me as a bodyguard only keeping me around to ward off the guys. They pretended to care about me. At this moment I don't really see Raven I see them.

"No, I didn't." He tries to look not affected. By being yelled at in the middle of a department store.

"Don't lie to me." My nose twitches in annoyance. Can't he be serious?

"Why would I lie?"

"You really don't get it do you?" I roll my eyes in anger. Angry that he doesn't get it. 

"Get what?" Honestly confused. If he didn't look like a lost puppy I would kill him.

"I don't want to be used in your sick love life. I thought she hurt you." I clench my fist not trying to show him I actually care.

"She did." He confirms without looking at me. Playing with a price tag on the rack.

"Then why did you do that? Make us look like a couple, make her jealous? It's like you want her and she wants you."

Maybe it's none of my business. Maybe I should just leave right here right now. Maybe I should just find Beastly? Maybe I should tell him to move on to his next assignment. We're done here.

All those things I should do. All those things I feel like doing. Instead, I waited for his answer.

"It's not like that. I want her but she doesn't want me." Isn't he just about the blindest person you ever heard of?

No girls eyes get that watery. Just because the A.C is a bit cold? "Can't you see she changed her mind."

Restraining myself from choking him. Don't we both deserve our happy endings? If he's trying to sell me a happy life. Is what you need to survive. Then how come he's not trying to survive with me?

"Stop, just stop giving me hope."

Hope? Giving?

"I don't believe hope can be given without a base. To me, hope is not something you give. Hope is on a foundation leveled on shaky fact." I cross my arms for dramatic effect.

Taking a step towards him. "Tell me why are you trying to get me Beastly together?" He must have a reason.

Hesitating he answers, "I want to see people happy. With their crushes at least. Since I will never be with mine."

Is he serious all this, for that? "You are so confusing." I could just ugh!

"I'm sorry I used you. I wanted to at least pretend like she didn't affect me that badly." I can tell he genuinely feels bad. He should right? I wasn't the one using him to get back at an ex he was.

Sighing I can't stay mad at him. Un damn, fortunately. "Just don't use me like that," I say softly.

"I promise." He crosses his heart.

I couldn't help it,"But that bikini plan genius, I must admit."

We start laughing. "I knew you were laugh. When you laugh you make me laugh. So I used that to my advantage."

I start to give him a look. But I notice the disregarded necklace on my neck and let it go. I make him laugh when I laugh? What every girl wants to hear.

We meet up with beastly who has a bunch of jeans and sweater he bought. Beastly smiles at us, " Hey guys I got you both a little something."

Raven flashes him a smile, "Yes with a little bit of my money. " Beastly frowns but then shakes it off.

He shakes these bags, " I want to give it to you when we go out to eat."

"Sure where too?"

Raven, starts walking away."I got this. Follow me."

We're taken to the parking lot. "Where are we going?" I look around.

"Don't worry I told Charles where he can drop us off at."

I enter the car turning to beastly. Who shrugs as clueless as I am. I sit enjoying the night sky through the passing car.

We stop at this restaurant, Raven opens the door for me making me feel like a princess. Taking my hand like I'm royalty.

" This is my apology lunch. I want to say I'm sorry for making you feel helpless and used. I won't ever try to repeat my actions today."

I smile he's getting it. No one messes with Lima and gets away with it. Beastly gives me a sideways glance. When Raven excuses himself to go to the bathroom.

When he's out of sight, he turns to me. Looking lost and that I have the answers. "What happened between Y'all again?"

"Again? What do you mean?"

Looking at me like I'm a child who has yet to understand the concept of math which is the truth. "Every time I leave you two alone something happens."

Really? "No, Nothing much, don't worry. We just had a small argument. He realizes that I'm right so hence."
I spread my arms dramatically.

Raven comes back," What were you guys talking about?"

I just give him a small smile. Beastly bring out his gifts. " Halima this is yours and Raven this is yours."

We open it and give each other looks, his a small amount of gratitude. Mine with pure excitement. He got me a sweater that said Hate To love Yuh. With a girl biting her lips. Raven's  sweater was just peace signs with the words king written on it.

" I got me one to match the both of you." Holding in the true beast of a fangirl. I can feel Raven studying my reaction. No doubt going to tease me later.

" Thank you I love it so much." Beastly turns to Raven waiting for his reaction.

" Yes, uhm thanks for this. I like it I'll make sure to wear it often." He sounds like he's not used to people buying him stuff.

That's the issue with guys they don't know how to express gratitude towards one another. Reaching my hand over to squeeze beastly. " He loves it don't worry."

I can't receive this empty handed. Racking my brain for any ideas. " Uhm since I don't have money can I give you both a hug?"

Beastly smiles and then frowns, "Why are you giving Raven a hug?"

I point at my necklace. I can feel Beastly become self-conscious. " I love both of your gifts equally."

After giving them a hug. Raven's slightly uncomfortably. Regardless I'm not 100% comfortable with him yet.

As an afterthought," The rest of the day a no-hit day?" I question I hit them a lot so maybe that can be considered a gift?

Raven smiles," What's today my birthday why else would there be such a miracle?" Beastly laughs with him earning them both glares.

They were extremely happy about a no-hit day.

I was only allowed delicious salads. They said funny jokes all day knowing I won't be able to hit them.

That day was fun. I played games with the family after dinner. I was finally able to sleep off my jet lag.

Before I closed my heavy eyes I thought to myself.
