where are you?
I wondered for years, how is it down there? I tried to reach out behind that thick wall of marble, to ask “why did you leave?”.
We lay on the sidewalk during summer, and we smile like a couple of crazy lovers. Homelessness was not a reflection of your soul. Inside of you a thousand shelters, gardens, and fountains of joy endured. Why did you drop? I tried to crack the door of your grave, but you were never here, that hollowness was taken by question marks, pain, and yellow autumn leaves. I missed being with you again, and I begged for our happy past, but the wind has a different plan.
