companions
I respected your justice, did you notice mine?
I respected your humanity, did you grasp my alienation?
No, my friend I’m not from the diverse earth, I’m from a different womb.
We are siblings, and we deteriorated from the same origin. We used different roads.
You swam towards the vast sea, and I fancied my way up against the wild river’s power with the flying salmons. I had my destination, and you had yours.
I'm not an alien, and you’re not a guest, this landscape belongs to us.
We can be companions by day and night. They meet for a split second, they engage.
