-three days later-

The group spent a few days at Namjoon's library before going back to the mansion. Taehyung felt strange, because he will start a whole new life now. He wasn't a human like he had thought, he had a demon inside of him, he was a shifter. a raven just like Jungkook. They were connected. Jungkook needed Taehyung in order to stay alive. his arm might be healed but it will crack again after a while, but as long taehyung is there for him he can be healed and stay alive for some longer. Which he was grateful for. Jungkook didn't think it was possible to be saved.

But for taehyung he will need someone's protection, so e needed jungkook too. Taehyung had refused to hurt another soul ever again. he forbid himself. He will only focus on his healing powers, his powers that can bring good things to people. This was his decision, he felt so bad after that day, remembering everything he did. He just couldn't get used to it; he felt sick of killing those people with his own hands. He doesn't want their blood on his hands again. He wanted to be clean.

Jungkook didn't object to his choice but supported him fully. Jungkook told Taehyung that he can fight for two, he would happily kill for Taehyung if he was in danger. Taehyung was fully agreeing but he was glad Jungkook would protect him.

"We're here," Jungkook said with a gentle voice. He had noticed Taehyung was tailing behind, not catching up to them. there was something on his mind jungkook could tell, it was quite obvious.

"Oh, I see '' Taehyung stepped inside the mansion and looked nervous as he held his bag tightly. they got stuff he wanted from his house in bags, everyone carried one. Jungkook carried two, not wanting taehyung to carry the heavy bag, he didn't give taehyung an option as he yanked it out of his hands and walked away ignoring the protests of the white raven.

Jimin looked at taehyung and glanced at jungkook. the raven shrugged in reply and jimin sighed walking upstairs to drop the bags in the hallway. Jungkook dropped the ones in his hands as well and looked at taehyung.

"Tae, what's wrong. i can tell there is something on your mind bothering you"

"I'm just....can I really live here? am i not gonna be a bother, you will need more drinks and all...."

"Are you serious?" Jungkook raised his brows and spread his arms, moving it in a pointing way around him. "have you seen the amount of empty rooms we have, have you seen the size of this place? someone can even get lost here and we won't even notice it. You're not gonna take up space or bother us. you're a friend, you will be life family to us. you already are to me. don't worry, it will be fine"

"i hope so"

"Believe me, it's all gonna be fine, we're safe now. well mostly. but you get what i mean" jungkook cupped taehyung's cheeks and turned his head up giving him a smile. "Just enjoy, we have all the time in the world now. i hope we can grow closer now"

"i hope so too"

The two smiled and Jungkook then leaned in for a kiss, gently pressing their lips together and kissing in a slow motion. their eyes closed enjoying the moment. Between the kiss taehyung had to smile and he grabbed jungkook's hips in a hugging way.

Yoongi who stood nearby stared at them before slowly making his way out of the hallway unnoticed. When everyone seems busy he thought to just prepare some for them. This time he got food that Taehyung needs as well. Jungkook had asked Yoongi to get some extra, the raven hoped taehyung will try their natural food. it will do his body good but it might be a strange big step for the boy.

"I love you a lot jungkook" taehyung said when they parted and just stood in eachothers arms feeling the warm comfort of the other's arms around them.

"i love you too" jungkook smiled and he stepped back looking into taehyung's red eyes. they were a cool contrast to his own purple ones. "your eyes are just so pretty, fascinating too"

"Have you seen your own silly?" Taehyung chuckled, he thought purple ons were more odd than red. Taehyung swore he hadn't seen any person with purple eyes before jungkook.

"Shall we go have something to eat before we go to set your things in the house?"

"Sounds good" the two held hands as they walked to the living room where Yoongi had placed four glasses on the table filled with a dark red liquid. Taehyung was quite sure that it wasn't some normal berry juice...

"Sit," Jungkook said, pulling back a chair for the boy. Taehyung did as said and grabbed his glass twirling the thick liquid around. He sniffed it and looked at Jungkook, this definitely isn't berry juice. It was blood. "All of us have to drink once every few days. Otherwise we will get sick and weak. Just like humans who need food like bread or fish, we need at least a liter of blood per week to keep ourselves healthy." Jungkook explained seeing Taehyung's eyes looking at him questioning for answers.

"Blood....but where did you get this..."

"oh we just buy it from a shifter, they have blood stores for our kind" yoongi said.

"hm...do i really have to drink it?"

"well, you can delay it until tomorrow but eventually you will have to drink it if you don't want to get badly sick..'' Jungkook felt a little guilty seeing how uncomfortable taehyung was with this type of drink.

"I see...." Taehyung sniffed the drink again but placed it back on the table. Meanwhile yoongi had already finished his and jungkook was still drinking, now finished half of it. they looked so casual with this. but it was normal for them, they did it often, same with jimin who just joined them and gulped his glass empty in just a few seconds. wiping his lips on his sleeve leaving a red smear.

Jungkook was staring at Taehyung who grabbed his glass again and slowly took a tiny sip from it, tasting it on his tongue before he took a bigger sip and put the glass down as he let the blood enter his throat and into his stomach. The raven felt a little proud that Taehyung at least tried it.

"it's....not that bad...." Taehyung said and took another sip. it wasn't disgusting flavour, it was quite nice somehow. but the thought of it being blood made it hard for him to properly drink this.

"Normally we tend to feed on living people or animals. It doesn't really matter what kind of blood it is, but from animal blood we would need more because they are very different from human blood. and they taste less good." jungkook said.

"okay.." Taehyung said and somehow managed to finish his glass leaving only two gulps in the glass, not wanting to drink more than he just did. "im done.."

"Thank you for giving it a try" Jungkook said with a smile and he took taehyung's hand in his.

"it's not bad but it's weird....just knowing its blood makes me feel so weird"

"I can understand that, for us it's normal, you will get used to it eventually."

"yea." Taehyung sighed but then put on a smile and stood up from the chair. "shall we empty my bags now?"

"Sounds good" jungkook left the room with taehyung leaving yoongi and jimin at the table.

"Well, okay, leave us here with the dirty glasses.." Jimin commented and sighed, taking the four glasses from the table.
