"i.....really liked that '' taehyung was the first to say smiling at jungkook who flopped down next to him. smiling but he was clearly holding his arm.

"are you hurt?"

"a little, but i wanted to do this with you. I'm glad I did." Jungkook replied honestly, he scooted closer to the other and hugged him. closing his eyes to enjoy his mate's presence and warmth. He didn't protest when Taehyung gently placed a hand on his burning arm.

"i don't want you to be hurt, why can't it go away"

"I'm just like this, tae. I'm a dying demon. a failed creation. don't worry your head over me"

"You're my mate. of course i will worry, i love you"

"thank you" jungkook smiled and secretly teared up. He didn't want to go anymore. He didn't want to let go of this life. He was always so confident. but deep inside he was scared.
