the hunters charged at them. Jungkook and jimin got into the fight trying to keep them off taehyung who was already panicking and fearing for their lives. He didn't have powers like them, he still felt like an ordinary human. He tried his best to dodge everyone running at them and keep close to the two friendly shifters. yelping whenever he locked eyes with one.

"ah!" he got grabbed by the arm but taehyung wasn't gonna just let himself get taken like that. he yanked his arm free and gave the hunter a stomp in the stomach before walking away watching how jungkook drained the hunters life out. he was glad to have two cool demons with him or else he was probably gonna cry and die. Taehyung wasn't so confident when he was in a life threatening stage.

"Taehyung run! We will keep them off your back!" Jungkook shouted.

"okay" taehyung decided not to argue this tie and just go. not knowing where to, he ran to the darkest area of the forest where he was hoping to be able to disappear in the bush somewhere. But so lucky and so easy wasn't it to escape someone specific.

"where are you going?" Seokjin suddenly appeared from the shadows and walked to him with steady steps, both his hands folded behind his back. a creepy grin on his face.

"S-stay back! i won't let you!" taehyung said.

"or what? you are nothing like them."

"i..i will be!"

"without a demon you're just a kid" seokjin could clearly tell he was much older than the boy in front of him, who was just a kid in his eyes. not experienced in this side of the world at all. He was just acting like all the other humans.

scared and weak.

but taehyung didn't like that, he bent down grabbing a good stone from the ground and threw it at the leader with all his strength. He was lucky as it hit seokjin on the forehead. The man halted and hummed when the rock made contact with his face and dropped to the ground. yet it didn't seem like it affected him at all.

"you're quite daring, I must give you that," Seokjin chuckled. but taehyung wasn't done, he grabbed more rocks and threw them at seokjin repeatedly. The leader let the first just hit him but he was growing annoyed with the boy quickly. He was a very impatient man. "But you need to know when to stop," he said and looked at the boy, locking eyes. His icy eyes turned blank and from under his black coat came two deep almost black purple tentacles that caught the rocks mid air and dropped them reaching for taehyung. the boy yelped in fear when he saw the tentacles. He looked absolutely disturbed and confused. this wasn't something he was expecting; he thought seokjin was human. not...THIS?!

"what!? ah!" Taehyung quickly ran away. Seokjin hid them back under his coat, keeping his hand behind his back as he followed the boy in a walking pace around the area. looking not so amused anymore.

"this brat" he muttered seeing taehyung run from him. but everywhere he wanted to go a hunter was blocking his path.

"Taehyung!" It was Jimin, the cat shifter rushed to his aid seeing taehyung getting cornered towards seokjin by a few hunters swinging their weapons at him. but when he came near he got knocked over by a punch. "oh fuck, that hurt"

Jungkook couldn't get there, he was keeping the other few hunters off his back. He can't stop his defense. But at the same time, Taehyung needed his help more than ever now. He had to do something quick. Jungkook released more of his demons and sped up the process hopefully.

"Hm, you are making this harder than it should be" Soekjin said, seeing Taehyung nearing his way now, where else to go than to him.

"I don't want to go with you! never!"

"you have no other choice, we do this the normal way. or the hard way, and I can assure you. my men are not very kind, do shifters" seokjin grinned seeing taehyung getting scared again and glanced at the hunters behind him blocking his way to run off. "now, kindly come with me"

Taehyung saw the hunters poke their weapons at him, wanting him to move, which he did. taking a few steps looking at jimin and jungkook who had their hands full by keeping the hunters for them without getting cut by their weapons. which is hard when there are three people swinging at you. He looked at his other side where the cliff was, looking over the horizon...

"Good, just a little more," Soekjin said, motioning his hand in a 'come here' motion.

"Never" taehyung said, suddenly he took a sharp left turn and ran to the cliff.

"get him!!" Soekjin said, now angry. His voice was loud and clear, almost like a demanding shout. his eyes glowing and hands balded in fists. "don't let him get away!!"

Taehyung could hear the hunters behind him, but he wont stop. he cant let them have him, if he will believe what jungkook's said and it was all true, he would not let him get taken by these people. So he put all his trust in Jungkooks words and jumped....

"TAE!" Jungkook said shocked. he just saw thow Taehyung jumped off the cliff, and a raging scream from Seokjin who rushed to the tip looking down.

"NO!!" the leader looked at his men. "I WANT EVERYONE DOWN THERE RIGHT NOW. DON'T LET HIM GET AWAY!!"

"but these-"

"I DON'T CARE, GET ME THE BOY!!" seokjin walked past jungkook and Jimin. He turned to them. "this isn't over, we both know he cant shift. i will take him now '' Soekjin said sternly and then followed his men out of the area rushing their way down to take the fallen boy with them, and heal him for their.... experiment.

When they left Jungkook and Jimin ran to the cliff looking down. they could hear the creaming of taehyung fading away.

"TAE! TAEHYUNG!" Jungkook said panic, his eyes wide in worry. He didn't see anything, it was too dark to klook down till the end. but he knew this was a long ass fall, this was the deep pit where it all started, the former lair of the dragon shifter who created this...mess. at the bottom you will die, or if you're somehow lucky survive, but that technically not possible for any human being.

"Oh no....he's not going to be able to," Jimin said softly. " you have to go for him!'' Jimin shouted at jungkook. he himself can fly, but Jungkook can.

Jungkook was about to jump down, when he froze. his heart felt warm. "no....give him some more time...i can feel him" jungkook looked down with his raven eyes scanning the dark pit.

"OF FUCK!" Jimin shouted.

"Taehyung..."

Jungkook and Jimin looked at the white raven that flew from the darkness up to the cliff. its wings flapping a bit unsteady making him sway in all directions. but it was going up. It was working. Jungkook rushed to the cliff edge where the raven landed and almost immediately shifted back to Taehyung who sang through his legs right in Jungkook's arm who caught him.

"I got you, i got you. its okay. rest" jungkook said carrying the boy in his arms. Taehyung was drained of all his energy to awaken his demon so early of age. He wasn't ready officially, but Jungkook believed he could do it. and he was right. it only made him pass out, but he will wake up eventually.

"We have to get out of here before the hunters realise he never came down," Jimin said. Jungkook nodded and carried taehyung out of the forest, hurrying their way back to the library.
