it was turning late and taehyung had to leave soon. He was currently with Jungkook in a cafe before they were going to part ways. Jungkook invited him for a drink after dinner. and the boy accepted of course.

He sat in front of Jungkook holding his hot cup of tea in both hands. He looked at Jungkook who was talking to the waiter asking what kind of desserts they serve. He couldn't take his eyes off the other. He felt like he had to look at jungkook. there was this feeling inside of him... like.. like a pull? But ignoring that he came to see more details of the other. how his eyebrows had a sharp edge and his cheek had a small scar, his cheekbone was sharp as well. a lot of his features were sharp. It was very...attractive. It made Taehyung's stomach tingle.

He was so lost in staring that he didn't notice jungkook was now staring right back at him. that was until their eyes locked. Taehyung was startled a little and a blush crept up his cheeks, quickly moving his eyes from the other and clearing his throat awkwardly.

"They don't have any desserts I like , sadly. Too bad '' Jungkook hummed after his sentence, his eyes scanning the boy. He noticed the blush on his cheeks and chuckled, a small smile on his lips.

"O-oh okay. what do you want then?" taehyung wanted to get rid of this awkward feeling quickly.

"hmm i like this one with a coffee flavored bottom, a creamy middle and on top brown powder. i keep forgetting the name..." jungkook said and thought, a frown on his face when he was digging deep in thoughts to remember the name.

"You mean tiramisu?"

"ah-yes that" Jungkook said, his eyes turning rounder. which surprised taehyung a little. He didn't think those sharp cold eyes would be able to turn this round and inviting. it sand a flutter through his heart.

"oh, I know a restaurant that makes them fresh. we can go there sometime?"

"I would like that. i will make some time soon"

"great!" Taehyung said and sipped his tea emptying the cup. Jungkook had already finished a while ago. He only had an espresso and gulped it away in one go. He then decided to ask something, again noticing the bandages around the other's hand that disappeared behind his sleeve. "Why do you have those bandages?"

"Oh that, it's nothing" jungkook said shortly and put that arm under the table. "Do you want me to walk you back?" jungkook asked changing the subject

"no, I will go to the library. i got to speak to namjoon"

"Alright, ten i will probably see you tomorrow. Do you have to work then?"

"hm no i don't think so" taehyung thought for a moment. "no i'm free tomorrow"

"good" jungkooks stood up and put money on the table. "The drinks are on me this time."

"i didn't expect you to have human money"

"I live on earth, of course I have human money. i'm not an connolising alien"

"ah yea..." taehyung scratched his neck and stood up as well following jungkook out of the cafe. "Thank you for the drink and showing me your home. i really enjoyed it"

"my pleasure" jungkook sent him a smile that warmed the boy's body. Taehyung didn't know why or how, but something about Jungkook really had an effect on him. It's like he was enchanted by the other.

"i wil see you tomorrow then, bye bye!"

"Bye Tae" jungkook watched the younger walk away and disappear around the corner. After that he made sure no one was watching and shifted flying into the sky.

Taehyung's head was filled with only one person. Jeon Jungkook. the demon Raven who looked like a human. He had a smile on his face that he didn't realise. He didn't even have time to realise this happened so suddenly. like something inside him snapped. like something was freed inside of him.

unknown of his connection to Jungkook..

"There you are. don't think you can always get out of our grasp" a voice said behind him. Taehyung turned around and saw a man behind him. in his hand a green bladed knife....it was a hunter again.

"what do you want from me? leave me alone" taehyung said, backing away from him.

"You can't stay alive. we both know why, now be a sweet boy and stay still so i can cut your heart out" the hunter chuckled and flipped the knife arrogantly.

"fuck no!" Taehyung backed away more from the hunter that was approaching him. The man had his face covered with a scarf and wearing his hood, only his eyes were visible.

"I will hurt you!" Taehyung shouted trying to act tough but he wasn't because his legs were moving back more and more, his hands shaking a little.

"don't make me laugh. it will be over soon, you can't stay alive." the hunter hissed back at him and swung his knife suddenly flashing so close taehyung could hear his breath. The boy yelped and jolted away in fear, but before anything could happen a loud roaring sound was heard and the hunter got knocked over.

"Wha-AH!" Taehyung got more scared when he saw a huge light brown bear, he had the human down on the ground its big paw pressing the man's head into the ground before crushing it under its weight. The bear removed his paw seeing some blood on his fur and sniffled it before licking it a few times to clean it away.

taehyung was slowly inching away fearing the bear was going to attack him, but he froze when the animal suddenly turned its had and looked at him. His eyes had something familiar. The bear approached him slowly. and at that same moment a dark figure appeared in front of Taehyung, it was jungkook.

"Don't scare him like that, you will ruin it" Jungkook said, looking at the bear. Taehyung walked to the side to see the situation. when he peeked next to jungkook the bear suddenly changed, shifting into a human. a VERY familiar human.

"NAMJOON!?'' Taehyung said shocked, his eyes widening. He did not expect the bear to be Namjoon, he didn't even think Namjoon was one of...them.

"Taehyung" Namjoon looked at the boy. "sorry you had to find out like this"

"You're a demon too??"

"yes, i am indeed."

"and you didn't tell me? what if you were going to eat me!?"

"dont be stupid" namjoon frowned and rolled his eyes. "Anyway. Jungkook" he said sternly and turned his head to the raven haired man. "You are too soon. what are you doing. he isn't ready"

"There is no time, Joon. we need him. The hunters are changing. our kind is in danger, " Jungkook said quickly, stealing a glance at the boy next to him.

"he is safe with me-"

"There is no time, I am weakening Joon. i dont have the same time you do" jungkook replied interrupting the other mid sentence.

"is it that bad?" Namjoon looked a bit concerned when Jungkook nodded to that question.

"hmm, i see....."

"uhm, can anyone please explain what is going on here??" Taehyung interrupted the two, waving his hands impatiently. "especially you Namjoon!"

"I'm sorry. yes i am a demon or shifter what you prefer to call it. But i am no danger to you. i m a friend of Jungkook. He asked me to watch over you when they found you.so i did. I am the safest spot for demons to be. my library is a sanctuary for them, no hunter can start a fight there. the spell that's casted over it wont allow it. Neither can we. so he knew you would be safe with me here. I didn't tell you earlier because I knew you would be scared. you wouldn't look at me the same, it was better for you to know nothing. but the truth always comes to light eventually, sadly sooner than we had hoped."

"Is that true Jungkook?" Taehyung asked, looking at the raven. Jungkook simply nodded in return.

"it is true, I asked him for a favor to take care of you until you were older. until I could show myself to you."

"but why?"

"You are someone we need. our kind needs. and besides that....one for me, i need you." jungkook looked at the boy. He couldn't give more details, taehyung wouldn't understand. He would scare the boy off with it. the raven sighed softly, calming his feelings that were inside of him. oh how he wished things were different.
