Ruby's P.O.V: a couple days back

i walk by a couple of people with there family, they all have there dads. i wish i could have my dad.

i walk the rest of the way down the street with my head hung down till i walk past a peculiar shop, Ways and How. the name wasnt that interesting but the decorations were nice and reminded me of a fortune teller. i went into the store.

"Welcome to ways and how, is there a way i can help you?" a cold screechy voice said. it was an old lady. long blue skirt that grazed the floor, black top that reminds you of the night sky. a purple scarf that you want to touch and wear for yourself.

"no, im just looking"

"true young one, you are looking very sad." she paused, looked at me, while i nod my head. she smiles

"i be its because of your dad young one?" how did she-

"yes, its i want my dad back"

"how did he leave to go?"

"umm, do you know Raven?"

"yes, i do. Everyone knows Raven!"

"yeah well-" i go on telling her about my dad, he was a good man he cared about Raven and i despite her not being his real daughter. he was one of the best cooks i have ever seen. if he saw someone in need of help he help them, he walks old ladies across the street, fix people broken down cars, feed the homeless, anything you can think of. he helped everyone. even help Raven become ruler. this thought made me sad. My dad cared about everyone so much he forgot about me, his own daughter.

"well i will just tell you something, you interpret it in your own way and do as told." i nodded, not as a yes, but as a "okay go ahead"

"the cause of your trouble, is because of your enemy. thou shall not have enemies. get rid of your enemy and learn to love all dwelling on evil wont bring happiness"

what did she mean? "umm.... i don't understand, can you explain?"

"interpret it yourself, here i will right it down, you take it home and think on it okay?" i nodded the left the shop. i headed straight for my house, repeatedly reading the card, not understanding what it means.

right in front of the door of my house, i feel a cold chill. i hear something brake inside the house so i decide to check it out. of course i'm gonna check it out, its inside my house.

"Raven? it is you-"

i see a tail wagging, low to the ground. "Omg its a dog, a puppy"

bark, bark

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE"

the card is bugging me, what does it mean. the cause of your trouble, is because of your enemy. thou shall not have enemies. get rid of your enemy and learn to love all dwelling on evil wont bring happiness. my eyes squint closer together to look closer. get rid of your enemy? do i even have an enemy? i mean yeah, my dad did hang out with alot of people more than with me, but who has he been with the longest?

RAVEN, but get rid of. ive heard people say get rid of but.... does she mean kill Raven then my dad can come back?

"eh, so thats how you interpreted what i said" the dog on the floor said, now morphing into the old lady from the shop before.

"what are you doing here?"

"i was keeping an eye on you, making sure you were taking my words in mind." she studies my, looking me up and down. "i see what you have chosen, the read of death, its common, and common things ............. are rarely right" she smiled then disappear. it was probably because Raven walked in, "im back!" she said as she walked in. that bitch. she is my enemy and i need to get rid of her.
