I got up, It's currently 5;47AM.. Arghh... school again! Hello, I'm Laura Marano. I'm 19 years old and bullied for 13 years of my life! Physical, verbal, cyber and mental! I've been beaten, gossiped and bullied! Everyone hates me since i love to study and learn.. I'm a nerd.. I only have 2 friends.. Raini and Calum. My father died.. My mom abandoned me.. My sister left for her show Switched At Birth for 9 months.. I'm alone.

I walked downstairs as i just finished showering and brushing my teeth.. I put on a black hoodie, some skinny jeans and my black converse.. I'm not gonna eat breakfast today.. I grabbed my backpack and walk to school... As i got there.. People started looking at me disgustedly.. I'm obviously hurt but i don't show it. Courtney, the Queen Bee.. approached me with her stupid, disgusting, ugly boyfriend Ross Lynch.

" Hey nerd! Got my math homework? " Ross asked me smirking.

" I don't do your homework. " I say with a bored, ass , annoyed expression.

" Well why don't you give me yours? " He asked me while putting out his hand.. I high fived him and walked away, sadly.. They followed me.

" Where do you think your going skank?! " Courtney says turning me around to face her while she puts her hand of her hip.

" I'm going to class. " I say boredly/ annoyed again.

" My boyfriend told you to give him your math homework! NOW GIVE IT! " She says raising her voice at me.. I'm actually not scared of her. She does to me everyday and i'm used to it.

" Find your own homework, bitch. " I say rudely and start walking away.. Ross pulled me back and punched me right in the face.. Then everything went black.

LATER

I'm slowly waking up, i find myself laying on the bed seeing my two best friends, Calum and Raini and our school nurse, Jackie.

" Hello Laura. " Jackie says smiling. I smiled back.

" Hey Jackie, what happened? " I ask confused.

Jackie looked at Raini, " Well, we found you on the ground unconsious and found out that Ross punched you. " Raini says.. I nodded.

" How long have i passed out? " I ask.

" The whole day. " Calum says, " School's over you know? "

" What?! " I say worried about my grades.

" Don't worry.. We excused you, Laur. " Raini says. I smiled.

" Laura, Ross punched you pretty hard.. You might need to go to the doctor. " Jackie says a little worried. I smiled and nodded.

" Thanks Jackie, Raini and Calum for everything. Bye. " I say as i jump down from the bed and walk outside.. I saw Ross and Courtney.. I hid behind the wall so they don't hear me.. I listen to their conversation..

" What?! How can you do this to me Ross?! "

" I can't do this anymore Courtney! You paid me to be your boyfriend! I don't even like you! I can't keep hurting people Court! "

" Ugh! You will pay Ross! Your no longer popular! "

" I don't care! "

" Is this about Laura?! DO YOU LIKE THAT SKANK?? "

He stayed quiet for a little...

" NO I DON'T! "

" YOU ARE OUT OF THE POPULARS! "

I am shocked... I ran as fast as i could out of the school and i immediately ran home. I took out all of my books and started studying.. My phone buzzed.. It was a text, from an unknown number. I read it.

You might think i'm a jerk, yes i could be one.. But i'm a big softy inside. You think i'm rough and tough? But inside, small words hurt me already. You may hate me now, but sooner or later, you'll change what you think of me. I promise that. I'm not who you think i am Laura. I'm different.. I promise you and only you.

" Who the hell sent this?! " I ask myself. I quickly replied.

My phone buzzed again..

That's something you shouldn't know now..

I am so shocked! Who is this person?! Ugh whatever. I finished my homework then grabbed my pjs and went to bed.

NEXT DAY NOVEMBER 29, 2015.

I woke up, seeing the bright sun... Pshh.. I wish i didn't.. It's my birthday.. Pfftt.. Nobody cares either way so whatever. I stood up and went to the bathroom and took a shower , brushed my teeth and i put on my black sweatshirt, my skinny jeans and my black vans... I grabbed my backpack and went to school...

As i was walking, surprisingly, people didn't look at me disgustingly... They just did their own business.. I walked to Calum and Raini who had big smiles!

" OH MY LORDD!!! " Raini squeals. I looked at her confused..

" What is up with you guys? " I ask so confused.

" It's your birthday Lauraa!!! " Calum squeals like a girl.. Man, i love this guy.

" So? What's the matter if it is my birthday? It doesn't matter. " I say calmly not caring about my birthday.

" So you don't care about this? " Raini says as she hands me a red box.. I hesistantly take it and slowly open it.. There was a necklace and a note..

There you are, standing with all your friends, so i wait till your alone again.. And the minutes feel like eternity... All these words.. burried inside my heart. Every step, feels like the hardest part.. But the last 6 feet are gonna kill me... So just take this chance, I got it all planned...

" What the hell is this?! " I ask so fuckin confused..

" Well, someone left it by your locker this morning.. " Calum says.. Then, all the lights shut!

" Calum?! Raini?! " I ask looking for them but they weren't around... I starter hearing singing and music in the background..

listen to the airplanes as we count the stars..

and tomorrow we can do it again.

He walks towards me..

" Hello.. " Was all he said.

" What is this?! " I ask CONFUSED

" Laura, listen... I have always liked you.... Courtney paid me to be her boyfriend and paid me to bully you or else she will hurt you.. I didn't want that Laura... I'm sorry for everything that i have done to you. " He says looking at me with sadness and sincerity in his eyes..

" How am i supposed to make sure about this? " I ask quietly..

" Let's start as friends. " He says smiling. I smiled back..

" Best friends. " I say as we hug... 

What i didn't know.. That soon, he was the man i got married to.. I had 3 kids with him.. Ryder, Riley and Rick.. That's who he is...
