Roommate
Book Title: Roommate
Review:
Finding a decent roommate is one of life's greatest challenges. If the chemistry is off, it can be disastrous. For a guy like Jackson Monroe, who hates people on general principles, the task is damned near impossible.
Jackson covets his privacy, while his brother, Wade, covets any random drunk girl who wanders in front of his man parts. That's why they don't live together. But a serial killer has targeted the citizens of their small hamlet, and Jackson knows it's time to bite the bullet and take in a roomie. He isn't looking for protection or anything pathetic like that. He's looking for a cover.
Lana Arnold arrives to fill the position of roommate, and Jackson finds himself drawn to her quiet nature, bringing out a side of him he didn't know he had. But her former life complicates Jackson's new attitude, and he soon realizes the very thing that brings him peace, is the same thing that threatens to destroy him.
Roommate is a story with a ton of edge. The characters jump off the page, with snappy dialogue and raw, unfiltered action, both in and out of the bedroom. Like a satisfying climax, the suspense builds with every chapter, culminating in an ending that will leave readers with their jaws on the floor.
