Name: Tatteredstar. Leader OCs are a little bit overrated in my opinion, but if they are not overused, they're usually fine. Tattered is a cool prefix though.

Past Names: Flamekit, Flamepaw, Tatteredsight (changed from 'flame' to 'tattered' because he had a lot of battle scars) Names typically don't change easily, just because of a few scars. Names define a cat and make them special. Crookedkit for example changed only because of a horrific injury. Sorry about the ramble! 

Clan: ChasmClan (fan-made) I love fan clans.

Past Clans: none. Good, loyal cat.

 Gender: Male. Nice.

Sexuality: Straight. Cool.

Appearance: a medium-haired light ginger tabby with yellow eyes and many scars. Needs some more fleshing out. His tail length, ear size, different small markings, etc. 

Personality: Tatteredstar is confident and often overestimates his abilities, he works well with others but not so well alone. Tatteredstar loves his clan and would do anything to protect his clanmates. He tends to make decisions more with his heart than his head and is quite short-sighted in terms of the well-being of ChasmClan. Maybe a few more negative traits?

Mate: none. Cool. 

Kits: Blizzardkit (an adopted she-kit) I love adopted kits :) One of my mains, Poisonberry had an adopted kit.

 Other Family and Kin: he has a sister named Redfire, his father was Lightstar and his mother named Ripplepelt. Maybe a bit more of a description for them?

Cause of Death: Killed in his sleep by his deputy, Shellmist. What did the deputy have against the poor guy?! And if he was a leader, what happened to the rest of his lives?

Past Ranks: Kit, Apprentice, Warrior (never deputy for story reasons) The warrior code says that a leader has to be a deputy first. So unless his clan abides by different rules, that can't happen.

Good Traits: Confident, caring, well-meaning, brave

Backstory: During a terrible war between three different clans at once (all fan-made), the previous leader and Tatteredstar's father, Lightstar was killed, a little before he had died the medicine cat of ChasmClan got a prophecy from Star Clan that "a tattered star will rise above the rest and bring peace" the whole clan was desperate at that point and ready to do anything so instead of promoting Lightstar's deputy, Shellmist, to the leader they made Tatteredsight leader instead. Eventually, he led them out of the war. However, Shellmist, seeing that he wasn't a good leader and also out of jealousy arranged it so that he would lose most of his lives and took the last one while he was sleeping. This backstory is lacking a lot. They can't really just decide not to make the deputy leader, unless declared by the dying leader. The prophecy is very obvious, and probably not needed. Where did Blizzardkit come in, what about his apprentice days, lots of gaps. There is so much lacking, I can't give it an awesome rating. 6.8/10. I would love to rate him again if he developes more, or rate more of yours when submissions open again! Thanks for submitting. 

Other: Tatteredstar has bad eyesight that has slowly been getting worse over time which is one of the reasons he was called Tatteredsight before becoming a leader. Another name change. I would keep them to a minimum if I were you.
