I'd ship this if the love hotel scene didn't exist. I know the love hotel isn't canon but the way they interact is canon. The love hotel shows their ideals in a relationship, their canon ideals. Angie over here almost fucking r@ped Shuichi. It's possible it's only her ideal with a man and it could vary due to the gender of her partner. I do prefer Angie as a lesbian though.
