The next day at the lair, it was their ninja training time. This time it was just the four brothers, because Karai had done her training early. The first ones thatwent up were Leo, & Mikey.

Leo: "Alright Mikey, you ready."

Mikey: "Yeah I am!"

Master Splinter: "Yamet!!"

Two brothers went at each other at full force, swinging their weapons at each other to try, & knock the other off. When Leo got the upper hand, by tripping Mikey. Before Mikey could fall, he threw a water-balloon at Leo's face.

Mikey: "Never doubt the water-balloon arm!!"

While Leo was wiping the water-balloon off his face. Mikey had tackled him to the ground, & sat on him, until Master Splinter called it off.

Master Splinter: "Well done Michelangelo, surprising your opponent. Donatello, Raphael, take your position."

Donnie, & Raph stand up, & headed to their positions. The other siblings looked at each other wondering how this will go. They wondering if Donnie will throw the match for Raph, or not.

Master Splinter: "Yamet!!"

Like the last time both brothers went at each other with full force. But during it, Donatello tried to get Raph's guard down, or weapons. While he was doing that, Raph was wearing a blank face. Not caring if he won or not. In the end, Raph was able to catch him off-guard, & knock Donnie to his feet. His brothers, & sister looked surprised that he won without Donnie throwing the match.

Master Splinter: "Well done, Raphael. Your skills have increasingly improved."

Raph: "Thank you, Sensei."

Raph went back to his siblings sitting in the line, he still had a blank expression, still not caring that he won.

After a few hours of training. Before anyone could leave, Master Splinter said he had something to reveal.

Master Splinter: "My sons, & daughter. I have something interesting this morning, that you might want to see."

Karai: "What is it father?"

Master Splinter: *Hands them a envelope* "This."

Karai grabbed the envelope from her father, then started opening it. While her brothers leaned in closer to see it, & she stares at it for a while, then gets shocked. Her brothers look at her questionably. Then when they start to read it, they were shocked to on what was written on it.

Dear Karai, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, & Michelangelo

You have been chosen to come & attend at Canterlot High School. I have heard many great things about you, & how your lives have been. So me & my sister wanted to give you all the chance at a normal life. It will be a great opportunity for you all. I hope to get to know you better.

Sincerely, Principal Celestia

Donnie: "An enrollment for us to go to school?! That's just..wow."

Mikey: *Smiled* "Its so cool dudes!! We get to go to school!!! Awesome!!!"

Leo: "This is really a great honor!"

Raph: "But, isn't weird that she knew about us, or that we existed. How did she find out about us?"

Everyone thought about, what Raph said & thought about it themselves. Then Karai had answered Raph question.

Karai: "Think about it Raph. Shredder has been the most feared person in New York City. He has done a lot of bad stuff, maybe she must of heard of him. Or from someone else, that had faced harm from Shredder."

Raph thought about it, thinking that she was right. They aren't the only victims that have faced the Shredder. Even after Shredder had killed their mother, many other as well have faced their end to the Shredder.

Karai: "Which is another reason, why we have lived down here. Finding a way to end him."

Raph: "I guess that's a good reason, but why me? I mean I'm a broken turtle with no emotions. I don't belong in High School, they might think that I'm just an emotionless freak."

Leo: "Don't worry Raph, I'm sure no one will care about your...eh...condition. After all, its High School."

Donnie: "Leo is right, Raph. Most teenagers in High School don't care about those kind of things."

Karai: *Smiled* "Besides, remember what mother had said to you before she passed away."

Donnie, & Mikey looked sad when Karai had mentioned their mother. Leo & Karai were only six years old & Donnie, Mikey, & Raph were five years old. When their mother was killed by Master Splinter's enemy Oroku Saki, AKA the Shredder. Raph remember the words her told her before she passed away.

Raph: *Sighs* "Yeah...I remember, those words were the only thing I looked for forward to when I was a kid. She said I'd meet someone who would become special to me."

Mikey: *Smirk* "Like a girl~!"

Donnie smacked the back of Mikey's head. Mikey yelp in pain, & Donnie just shook his head in annoyance.

Donnie: *Smile* "Maybe it will happen Raph. I mean, this could be your last chance to make you feel happy."

Raph thought for a second, before deciding that maybe it was the right choice.

Raph: "Yeah...maybe your right."

They had all thought about an accepted, & thought it was a good idea. As did Master Splinter, he went back to the surface, on where he found the letter & placed it back. Saying that they accepted their offer.

Later that night, while everyone was asleep. Raph was still up, looking at the ceiling & sighing.

Raph: *Thinking* ('Maybe mom's words could happen at school, hopefully...')

Flashback:

Little five-year-old Raph was sitting, not playing with his brothers.

Little Raph: *Sigh*

????: "Why aren't you playing?"

Little Raph looked up to see his mother, Teng Shen.

Little Raph: "Mom, do you think..that I could be normal."

Teng Shen looked at her son, before smiling & sitting down with him.

Teng Shen: "You remained me of when I was your age. In fact, I was just like you when I was little."

Little Raph: "Really?"

Teng Shen: "Yes. I'm going to tell you something that helped me when I was young."

Little Raph: "Okay.."

Teng Shen picked up Raph, & making him sit up, then putting her hand on his head, before saying.

Teng Shen: "Someday, you will meet someone special, someone who could make you feel complete."

Flashback End:

Raph: "Mmm...hopefully going to High School will help.." *Sleeps*

But, what Raph is that something will happen that, changes his life for ever.
