Our story begins underground in the sewers of New York City. Maybe not the best place to start off, but that's where some mutants would call a home. This is where very special ninjas live.

Down in the lair was a 15 year old teenage mutant ninja turtle, who was punching the dummy. He has emerald eyes, & wears a red mask. His ninja weapon that he has is his two Sai's. His name was Raphael, or Raph for short.

He lives with his father/sensei Hamato Yoshi, AKA Master Splinter. Along with his two older siblings, his older sister Karai, & older brother Leonardo or Leo. While having two younger brothers Donatello or Donnie, & Michelangelo or Mikey. They live together as a happy family, well except for Raph.

Raph wasn't like his family, because he was different from them. He couldn't feel the happiness they felt. In fact, he couldn't feel any emotions. Unless, you count be a bit hot tempered could count. But, other then that, no other emotions.

For as long as he could remember, when his was just a kid, he never felt anything. Not sadness, not pain, or happiness. He only had a bit of a hot tempered, but only when fighting bad guys. Not even able to feel like being in love.

He didn't even hide it from his family, he knew that they would see past the lies. His family tried anyway they could to try & help him. His father & older brother tried to make him happy, like meditating with them, having tea, training practice. Sometimes Leo would lose on purpose to make him happy that he won, but it didn't work. Karai also tried to help her younger brother by hanging out, battle practice, but it still didn't work. His two younger brothers tried to help him as well.

Donnie would spend most of his time in the lab to try & find a way to help fix his older brother. But, it could be years until he found a solution to help fix him. Mikey tried to get him to play video games, trying to get him to watch cartoons, or maybe skateboarding & eating pizza. But, once again nothing had worked.

Raph would appreciate what they do for him, but he wished they stopped. He knows he's broken, but he doesn't care. He just hopes one day they stop trying to fix him, he thinks he's not worth it. He might not feel anything, but he felt pity for his family. He didn't want his family worrying about him.

????: "What's up Raph!"

Raph winced when he heard his younger brother. He turned his head to see his brother's orange mask, with baby blues eyes. It was Michelangelo, or Mikey.

Raph: "What do you need Mikey? I'm busy."

Mikey: "Leo wanted me to tell you that we're going on patrol."

Raph: *Sighs* "Okay. I'll be there."

Mikey: "Great!"

Mikey went to go tell Leo, while Raph was punching the dummy until they go to the surface. After a few minutes, everyone had their gear & headed up to the surface. While looking any purple dragons or any bad guys, Raph was just staring off into space, not caring. Then a few minutes later before they headed back to the lair not seeing anything. Two certain villains showed up. Tiger claw, & Fish faced.

Tiger Claw: "Well, well~what do we have here. A bunch of freaks."

Karai: *Growls* "Tiger Claw. What do you want?"

Tiger Claw didn't say anything, but he just snapped his fingers & footbots appeared from the shadows. The turtles & Karai were shocked, except for Raph.

Tiger Claw: *Yells* "Footbots, ATTACK!!"

Leo: "Ninja's attack!!"

Both sides began to run each other at lightning speed. Blaze clash as they were fighting each other, while the turtles & Karai were fighting against the footbots. Fish Face decided to make fun of Raph.

Fish Face: "I see the one turtles who doesn't have emotions still can't feel anything. Don't you understand, you are broken, you will always be broken."

Raph: "Shut up!!"

Raph had charged at Fish Face with his two Sai's, but before he can make a hit. Fish Face grabbed one of Raph's arm that held one of his Sai's & took it. He used Raph's own weapon as against him, to stab Raph's shoulder. While Leo saw what happened.

Leo: *Gasp* "Raph!! Alright retreat, Raph's injured!"

No one hesitated when Leo said that. They went together in a group, while Leo got Raph back. Before Tiger Claw could get them. Mikey threw one of the smoke bombs, & they disappeared.

Back at the lair

When they were at the lair, & Donnie was fixing Raph's shoulder up. The others looked at him with a sad expression. They had heard what fish face had said to him during the fight.

Donnie was patching wrap Raph's shoulder up, while just shook his head not caring about his shoulder. After Donnie was done, Raph moved it a bit & winced in pain.

Donnie: "Raph, are you sure your okay, I can-"

Raph: "I'm fine Donnie. Thanks I do appreciate it, but...I'm just going to sleep & please guys stop trying to make me feel anything. Fish Face was right, I am broken & I always will be. So could you guys please just understand."

Raph walked away from his siblings, & into his room. While his siblings were looking down at their feet with sadness, was hard to accept the fact that Raph could never be fixed.

Mikey: "Do you guys really think that Raph will never feel emotions..?"

His older siblings were silent for a moment not knowing what to say.

Karai: * Rubs his head* "I don't know Mikey...I just don't know.."

????: "Do not lose hope my children."

The turtles, & Karai turns to see their father/sensei walking out of his dojo & towards them.

Master Splinter: "I am sure he will feel some emotions someday."

Leo: "Master Splinter is right. We can't lose hope on Raph. We just have to hope."

Meanwhile in Raph's room, his was laying down on the bed, staring at the ceiling of his room.

Raph: "I wonder if I'll ever change. Maybe tomorrow might be different, or not..."

Little did he know that tomorrow would start the beginning of his life.
