y/n pov

I sit at the bar thinking about what happened. a flush of red makes it way to my face and I go behind the bar to grab a drink. 

"hey sissss~ how was your time with cap~" My head shoots up and I look at him with a red face. "i-it was o-ok I guess." He chuckles and ruffles my hair. I take out two cups and fill them up. 

I hand one to Ban and sit back down.

"Where to next Meli?" I ask downing my drink. "Byzel, I think a sacred treasure is there." I nod and walk outside to see a village in the mountains.

"Hey, Ban! Can we participate in the fighting festival?!" I look at my brother with excited eyes. and he looks down at me with a small smile. "Ask cap. but I dont care."

"Meli!!" I run-up to the blonde and put on a big smile. 

"Let's participate in the fighting festival!" He looks at me then smiles. "We're probably going to have to, to get the sacred treasure. So why not!" 

I smile and get excited. 

I can feel Meli's eyes on my back and that makes me happier. Then I think about what he said to me.

"If I kissed you right now, would you like it?"

My face gets a bright red and I stiffen up. I then feel breathing on my neck. 

"What's wrong n/n~. are you thinking about yesterdayyy~" My face gets redder and I back up bumping into- you guessed it! Ban.

"ok, ok. Stop leading her on unless your gonna lead her on to the bedroom." My face gets beet red and I turn around punching him which doesn't face him at all. I look up and he gives me a devilish grin.

"ok then! come on n/n!" 

Ok. that's it. my heart can't take anymore.

"u-um-"

"Kidding!"  Meli says with a wink.

With red on my face a chop Meli's head and run behind Ban trying to hide from the embarrassment.

"P-Pervert!" 

The two males let out cocky chuckles and Ban packs me up and puts me on his back. Which I obviously accept. I lay my head down on his back and we start our walk to the town. Ellie and Diane stayed back to watch over the boar hat so I was the only girl this time around.

"come to think of it, I've never seen you fight before in a proper match before n/n." still on Ban's back, I look down at Meli and smile.

"Well, my fights are usually really quick depending on who I am fighting." Ban turning his head and looks at me. 

"What do you mean fights, we've never been here before."

"You've never been here before. Remember all the times that I said I was getting food for us. I always came here and participated in the fighting festivals."

 Ban looks at me and puts on a small smile. "Well you are my sister, how many did you win?" 

I smirk. 

"Every fight until we got thrown ina dungeon for 10 years. the returning champion is returning!" I point my thumb at my chest with a proud smile. 

"But if you and Ban are competing too I may lose," I say to myself with a sad sigh. 

"A-all of them?!" I look over at king who gives me a surprised look. 

"Yes all of them."

After around 5 minutes of walking, we walk into the town and emidiatly get greeted with a bunch of different people. some selling things, some buying, and some here for the fighting festival. One of the reasons I didn't stay back with Diane and  Ellie.

"Dont get separated!" I here Meli say with caution. I get back on Ban's back, so I dont get lost. Im only one foot taller than Meli so Im short and get lost easily.

"These crowds are gonna make it hard to look for things," I say with annoyance. 

All of a sudden this old man started talking us as he jumped off of this ledge. 

"If your going to the festival, maybe the prize is that big thing over there." The old man says as he points to the rock the arena stands upon. I smile and look at the old man. 

"Thank you, sir!" I say with a happy expression as I walk around trying to find the sign-up area. 

"Oh yeah, I have some people I want you guys to meet. I haven't seen them in years so I want to see them now! Also, they know I'm a sin. Ban you remember the twins?" I say excitedly

"Oh them? hell yeah, I remember. Ethans, my man!" Ban says with a smile. 

"After Cap of course." I laugh at his little statement.

"They know Im a sin. It's not like they care, Since they knew me before I was one, they dont believe we did something as bad as people think. They're on our side." I say with a wink as I continue to look for the pair of siblings I was talking about.

 As I reach the signup booth I see two green-headed people and Run towards them, leaving the males behind me.

"Jayda! Ethan!" 

I run-up to the siblings to see a girl with curly green hair and a smile on her face, and a male with green wavey hair with a shy looking expression.

"n/n?!" Jayda calls out running over to me, Ethan following behind. 

"it's me! how have you been?" We give each other a hug and Ethan soon comes over soon after. "and hello there Ethan! I've missed you too." I walk over and give him a hug as well. 

"We've been good. This festival isn't as fun without you though." Jayda say with a sigh. 

Meli, Ban, and King soon come over. 

"Oh! This is Meliodas, King, and my brother Ban that I told you about."  I say pointing to the respective people. 

"yo!" Meli

"wassup." Ban

"hi there." King

all three of them greet,

"Yo Ethan, how have you been?" Ban walks up to him and Ethan brightens up. "I-I've been good." I let them catch up and I turn to see Jayda, Meli, and King talking.

"So Jayda. you participating this year?"  I ask 

"Of course I am! I've been waiting for the day we could battle again!" 

Meli, king, Ban, and Ethan look over at us. 

"I've gotten stronger too ya know," I say with a smirk. Not only is Jayda my best friend, She's my greatest Rival.

"oh god, here they go." Ban and Ethan say in sync.

"Have you all forgotten about me dear n/n?" I hear an all too familiar voice and turn around to see the one and only "Hotori." (Ethan, Jayda, and Hotori are not in SDS so dont worry if you're not caught up with the manga or anime)

Ban sighs and backs up. 

"Ban? What's wrong?" Meli asks obviously confused

"Let's just say Hotori's and y/n's dont mix," Ethan says joining the rest of the boys.

Me and Jayda cross our arms and stand in front of a girl with red hair and eyes who has a cocky grin plastered on her face.

"What the hell do you want Hoetori," I say with an annoyed face

"I just want to say Im gonna beat you this year 'Fallen Champion'. and dont forget that. I flinch at the name and grab her by the collar causing people to look at us. I honestly dont care, This girl insulted the sins, not even knowing I am one.

"Listen here Hoetori. You're going to regret crossing paths with me again." I say as I drop her to the ground with an enraged facial expression. 

Jayda comes to my side and cools me down as I walk back to everyone else. 

"I swear that girl is gonna kill me," I say putting my fingers to the bridge of my nose.

Ban walks over and signs us up and Meli comes to stand by the two of us. 

"So! are you two rivals or something?" Meli asks with concern.

"Yep pretty much. but we're also best friends!" She says putting her arm around my shoulder causing me to smile. 

"I use Lighting Magic and my brother uses Ice Magic." She says with a matter of factly tone. Me and Jayda walk until we find a bunch of men in one area talking among themselves and I see Ban signing us all up. 

Meli drags King and I laugh a little. 

After a while of getting weird looks and there's of getting beat, we finally get to start the festival.
