Hey guys.

Instead of simply doing an announcement on my page to explain, I thought I'd also stick it in an update so people who read but don't actually follow me can see it too.

Originally, up until a few days ago I had every intention of returning to complete Rapacity, but now I shall not be continuing this fic, and am even considering removing the entire thing.

My reasoning is simple. I absolutely cannot support the creator of Seven Deadly Sins, Nakaba Suzuki, after the most recent chapter of the sequel manga.

For those who haven't seen, one of the recent chapters revealed that Jericho, a 34 year old ADULT woman, fell in love with Lancelot, Ban's 10 YEAR OLD son.

I've always had issues with Nakaba Suzuki's odd sexualisation of young characters/loli-esque designs for adult woman, but that crossed the line.

Elaine in general makes me, and many others, incredibly uncomfortable. Her design, especially next to a man as large as Ban, is just...not right. Fairy or not.

Meliodas' constant sexual harassment of Elizabeth, and his referring to her as 'his woman' even when she was an infant. Regardless of their curse and her reincarnation, that's just...ick.

Merlin with Arthur, Gowther with Nadja, King with Diane...and now Jericho's romantic infatuation for a literal, prepubescent child?

I can't and won't support that.

This was the first I saw of it, seeing as I stopped reading the SDS series after the original manga finished.

After looking into it a little more, and finding it to be legitimate, I felt sick. I'm a parent, and even if I wasn't, something like this just makes me feel physically ill on every possible level.

So I apologise to those of you who have been patiently waiting for any updates, or enjoying this story. No matter how much I liked (the majority of) Ban's character, I can't support this fandom any longer, and I will not write for it again.

I have not yet decided whether or not I will keep this fic published. For the meantime, I'll leave it up, but I can't guarantee for how long.

I deeply appreciate everyone who has read and enjoyed this story. It means the world to me, and if you are interested, I do have other stories for other fandoms, both completed and ongoing, that are available to read. (One Piece, Haikyuu, My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan etc).

If not, I still thank you for supporting my writing through this story when it was being written.

Again, I'm sorry, I just can't write for Seven Deadly Sins any longer after this crap.
