Since I tagged them in this I might as well talk about my love for them

When I first got introduced by them in a music video, Tightrope  that was playing one BET, since then it honestly took me a while to get into her music but, with my mom being a total fan of theirs and blasting one of her songs literally 24/7 (which she does for any artist or song she likes lol) I eventually fell in love.

I mean come on this they are sooooooo underrated that it's frustrating like they're music is inventive, funky, and unique and they can do different genres  that can match type of mood you might be in and their album Dirty Computer should've win a Grammy and I'm still mad about that and I always listen to that album(or at least most of their songs).

Even though they've had gigs, nominations, more recognition to an extent since they came out as pansexual and was very truthfully about how it can be hard to be queer and black(which makes me proud how open they can be about that since it's important) and etc but in my opinion I feel like they can be bigger but hey Janelle has time and with the music that they put out has already put effect with people and me as well.

Let's just hope that they get a bigger fanbase and much success since they deserve it

So if you have enough time (to anyone who'd reading this lol) listen to them they put amazing music, they are creative, beautiful (inside and out) and honestly ahead of it time.

*Note* I put them because I find out from a friend they Janelle Monae has came out as non-binary and I wanted to respect that
