So this happened today...

Mom: So...do you like anyone? Like boys? Do you have a BOYFRIEND?

Me: Yes, I have many boyfriends.

Mom: Many? And you didn't even care to tell me? And you know that's breaking one of our rules. And wait if you're dating them at once, do they know that you're cheating?!! *starts getting angry*

Me: Yeah, well they don't really know they're dating me...

Mom: ..huh
Me: Well, most of them have girlfriends or married...
Mom: *jaw drops in confussion-*...
Me: And some of them are dead...
Mom: ...
Me: And some of them are dead...and some people keep on telling me that they're fictional characters but they're just jealous.

Mom: **facepalm*. I meant REAL BOYS. FROM SCHOOL!

Me: How dare you?! They're real to me!

Dad: *walks in awkwardly-* I don't think we have to worry about her. She's better off living with cats.

Me: That's offensive but I will do anything to escape this conversation so goodbye. *slowly walks out of the living room*

Parents: *facepalm*

Yeah, I really need a class for how to escape awkward situations. Why isn't that a thing? Come on education sytem!
