Okay, here's the actual update on my life:

Cross-country ended and I'm really happy about that because that was a huge source of stress for me. I'm debating whether I want to do track or not. I probably won't. Scholastic Bowl starts soon (I'm going to a meeting for it today) and I'm looking forward to that because I'm good at random knowledge.

Oh, also, before I forget, have any of you been to Belgium?

So anyway, I'm fine. You don't need to worry. I'll try to start updating again soon. 

(I'm writing this in Earlybird and am hoping no one sees that I'm not doing homework or Señor Wooly.)

My school is starting a literary magazine that includes short stories, poems, artwork,  photography, or collages. Naturally, I wrote three stories that were within the six-page limit, and was going to submit them when I saw a new sign that said the limit had changed.

Now they all have to be 500 words or less.

That's about 3 pages.

How am I supposed to write an entire plot and fit it into 500 words

My average chapter on here is between 500-600 words. That's one chapter!

I get that short stories should be short but I'm pretty sure it's not possible to fit a well-thought-out plot into 500 words. I don't think I'll be writing for the magazine anymore. I've tried writing shorter stories but I can't get them lower than like 1000 words. 

So that was frustrating but oh well

Also, my church sucks (Please notice I said church, not religion. If you're Catholic, I swear I'm not saying your religion sucks. My church is just full of people that think they're better than everyone else.)
