I AM SO ANGRY III
Guys.
Guys will someone please educate society about how there are more than two genders? There's even more than two sexes! (Though there's only three sexes but that's still more than two.) And while we're at it, can people respect each other's pronouns, no matter what they look like? Please?
(Look at number five)
"I'm not gonna call someone 'they', really, it's either a she or a he."
Remember that quote.
There's more gender neutral ones than they/them, but at least this person isn't being completely and utterly transphobic.
Really? Identifying as graph paper is not the same as being transgender. Graph paper is an inanimate object and people are not. People need to stop thinking like this.
No. There's more than two, I promise you. There's even more than two sexes, as I stated earlier.
So I'd like to give a shoutout to empires_fallen for being well educated on this subject.
And in the last two, the same person says "...I'd gladly use neutral pronouns."
Hm.
Remember that quote from earlier?
Yeah.
LIKE I SAID, THANK YOU empires_fallen
NEXT (Then I'll rant)
No. Biologically there are three sexes. There is a difference.
I'm not completely sure what @tree_fxre meant, but I think they probably meant "Get educated please. There's over 400 sexualities and genders, not just two."
So I mean shoutout to you too.
Unless you meant "Please rant about how stupid these 400 sexualities/genders are."
Then you don't get a shoutout. Because that's mean.
RANT TIME
[Im pasting my previous rant on this topic and then will add things and edit it to make it better for this circumstance.]
First, I think these people need to realize that gender is different than sex. I'm going to try to explain this as best I can: Sex is biological, gender is not. If you feel more feminine, yes, you can be a female. If you feel more masculine, you can be a male. If you feel neither, you can be nonbinary. If you feel both, you can be bigender. There's lots of different genders, not just the ones I mentioned, please don't yell at me for only putting four, and three sexes: female, male, and intersex. Gender is a spectrum, as I understand it, and someone can change their gender depending on where they are on that spectrum. This means that you can be trans, and you can be a different gender than what you started physically with at the start of your life. You don't chose to be transgender, it's simply who you are. Yes, you chose what you wear and things like that, but gender is something you were born as, and sometimes this differs from the sex you were given at birth. Therefore, this means that if I am mentally female, I'm not going to change my gender just like no one would mentally be graph paper. Graph paper is inanimate and you cannot feel inanimate as a gender. And in the last screenshot, it talks about genders and pronouns as if they don't go together. Like they're two separate things, but they aren't really. As far as I know (please correct me if I'm wrong), pronouns go with a gender. Like, if you're mentally female you'll use she/her pronouns. So why would you use correct pronouns but not accept the fact that they're trans? I mean, it's better than not respecting them at all for sure but I don't get why those wouldn't be connected.
"A "she" is female, a "he" is male, and "they" is a preference."
Meaning, a person can be trans nonbinary but not trans mtf or ftm? Why? Because maybe their (nonvintage people) mindset isn't the gender they were assigned to at birth? That's the same with mtf/ftm people. It's the same situation, so why only respect trans people if they use they/them pronouns? Where's the logic in this? I sure don't see any.
And just because someone is trans, mtf doesn't mean they have to look 100% feminine all the time, just like if you see a girl out on the streets somewhere, would you expect her to wear a dress everywhere she goes? She can wear masculine clothes all her life if she wants, and it's the same for mtf people.
Now, switch that around to make it ftm and it's the same thing. A cis man can wear a dress if he wants, and so can a ftm man.
So people shouldn't have to wear a dress just because they're mtf and you're too lazy to ask for pronouns, even though you'll end up being disrespectful and saying that she's still a man. And this is the same for the other way around.
Okay I think I'm done now. I congratulate you if you read all that. It was a lot. About 600 words of pure ranting and about 800 total.
Bye everyone.
