I AM NOT DEAD! (well, maybe a little...)

So, I am in fact still alive, even though I didn't use wattpad for a good while,  in case you were wondering why you haven't heard from me. That is because I, unfortunately, lost my phone around a week ago and have since been a) in denial about it and b) rarely been on my laptop, for some strange reason. What a great way to start off the second month of my stay in the UK! So yeah, I think I died a little bit inside... (Hopefully, by the end of next week, I'll have a new phone.)

I bet you are wondering now 'How can she be so careless and lose her phone?!?!' Well, to answer you, I wonder about that myself. You see, I'm usually quite good with my stuff. Before I got my phone about half a year ago (can you believe it??? I only had it for HALF A YEAR!!!), I had another one for three entire years, and I daresay I took pretty good care of that one. Anyway, I am almost entirely certain that I forgot it on the bus, but no person was kind enough to hand it in. (It had a Marauders' Map phone case, for heavens sake!) I went to the police as well to report it stolen, and they said they were going to look at the CCTV from the bus, but after a week, all they did was contact the bus company to ask to see it... Well done, guys, I applaud you.

So yeah, I've been in a bit of a bad mood during the past week - the people around me must have enjoyed my presence greatly! - but, there is actually a good side to the story! (Rest assured, it's very tiny. Not really enough to make my mood any better) Since the loss of my beloved phone, I have been forced to socialise a lot more. It comes to the extreme, that on Monday, as I was innocently making my way back home from school a little earlier than usual (I only have school until midday on Mondays, that kind of makes up a little for the fact that it's a Monday), a guy approached me and said hello. I did the obvious thing: panic. I had never seen that guy before; I thought he was in one of my courses and I had forgotten him! I felt like a very bad person. But, as it turns out, he was just curious because I'm German, and also a lot younger than the other students (since I'm in sixth form, most people in my year are around the age of 16, while I will turn 15 in a month...) and just wanted to introduce himself. It was a really nice gesture, but my socially awkward self didn't cope too well with it. I was originally going to go swimming right after school, but when he asked where I was going, I panicked (again) and said the bus station. And he was all like 'Great! That's where I'm going too!' Now, you can get to the pool from the bus station, but it takes some good 15 minutes longer than it would if you went directly from the school, so I had to take a massive detour just because I was too awkward to say I was going swimming. If I had my phone, this wouldn't have happened, I am sure, and I wouldn't have had to walk 25 minutes to get to the pool... (I'm very good at cheering people up, as you might be able to tell by this cheerful little story of why socialising is a god idea! (I'm also very sarcastic, but sadly you can't always detect sarcasm when it's written, so watch out for it, or you might get a little confused x) (brackets in brackets are fun)))

But otherwise, things have been going great! I found a group of people to hand out with who are also fangirls and listen to the same music as I do, and ship several of the people I ship, and just share many of my fandoms in general. It's really awesome x) (Since you asked for it (this, for example, was a sarcastic moment, but fret not, there are many others throughout this chapter (is it a chapter? Or rather a post? Update?) that you can find), I'll give you a list: Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural, LotR and the other Tolkien works, Fall Out Boy, Marvel and Harry Potter. Isn't this marvellous??)

Oh, and before I forget it! Another awkward thing happened to me today! During tutor time, my tutor brought a cake with her. Obviously I wanted to know why, but I didn't ask, fearing I had forgotten something important. Then people started wishing me a happy birthday, I even got two cards! For some reason, they thought my birthday today! When a girl asked me how old I was, I had to tell them that my birthday is on the 31st of October, not the 8th... It was so nice that they put thought into it, but it wasn't actually my birthday and I kind of felt bad about it. Still, we ate the cake and it tasted great ;)
