Now this is not a rant about how I hate genderbend fanfics. I actually love them. Their one of my favourite kind of fanfics.

But what I don't like is when people change that genderbender's personality. It just really annoys me. Fanfiction writers, just because the gender of the character has changed, that doesn't mean their personality should. I just hate that some writers think it's ok to make a character into an OC, just because the gender has changed.

So if anyone is going to write a genderbend fanfic, first think about how this person would act, dress and look as the opposite gender. Make sure your not making them into an OC, and make sure you know this character really well.
