Ugh. I have an exam Monday that I have to make at least an 87 on or my GPA in that class will drop a whole point.

And I just got the practice test back, and I made about a 70. On top of that, there are All-State auditions this Saturday, and I'm fully prepared, but I keep making stupid mistakes.

I should probably explain what All-State is. Basically, it's a band competition/audition for the District band and State band. The District Band is made up of the best players in the district (about five or so counties), and the All-State Band is made of the best players in the state for your age group (6-8,9-10,11-12), and it is really competitive. Only about 12 people with my instrument in my age group for the ENTIRE STATE get in. So, it's kind of a big deal. I have to play 2 three octave scales and arpeggios and 6 two octave scales and arpeggios, a chromatic scale, going from the lowest note to the highest note which is a little over three octaves, a sight reading piece, and a prepared étude (musical piece). And I'm really nervous I'll mess up, so I'm going through a bit of anxiety right now.
