Every first chapter of almost every fanfic I read, during the first chapter has to be very detailed and specific. And you like it, so going to the next chapter you feel like you just got bullshited on.

Ex:

I curled my brown hair carefully, staring into my bright hazel orbs which shows a bit of grey.
Getting dress in a plain Nirvana hoodie and some white gothic skirt, I headed downstairs. I chuckled. Man, Isn't my style kind of a mess?

"Mornin mom." I stated to my mom and starts explaining details about herself some more, her mom, the food she ate, etc.

Then, I headed off to the bus which will transfer me to my living so called hell hole.

Chap 2:

I looked around my classmates and became nervous. And then I got up and got out of the class room. I went to the bathroom and begin to cut myself because I get bully a lot.

Okay, so I am laughing at my attempt of being a crappy writer. But I am sure you get the point.
