Heyyyy! This rant really only applies to people who have some sort of handheld device. I don't know if PC games do this to because I don't have one... Yet ;)

Anyways, freemium games are basically games that are free, but they are pay to plan. Like clash of clans for example. It's 100% free, but once you start progressing, it gets basically impossible to do without buying gems.

If you don't understand what that means(Cuz you don't play CoC) then here's how it works. Start out with some gems. Gems are used to buy all of your resources and skip wait times for upgrading. Now you don't need to buy gems, because you get your own collectors to get your resources. But here's the problem:

When you are lvl 1, everything is so easy! Upgrades take like a minute, and things are cheap. Seems pretty easy. Though slowly upgrades start costing more and more, and taking more and more time. Oh and you can only upgrade 2 things at once, unless you by more builders with gems. The first builder is 500 gems, and for each builder they gain 500 gems in cost.

Now you don't have to buy gems, but here's the thing. You get like 1 gem for breaking obstacles, and around 10 for completing achievements. Makes it pretty hard to get 1,500 for your 5th builder.

Now back to my original point. As you start leveling up,upgrades go from taking 1 minute, to taking 5 or six days! Unless you speed it up. Upgrades that used to cost 1,000 gold now cost 1,000,000's gold! Now to put that in perspective, if I don't play the game for 3 days I will get 100,000 gold from each collector. I have the max amount(6) of maxed our collectors(lvl 12).

Now that sounds easy, but here's the thing. If you have 1,000,000 gold in your collectors, people can raid your base and they will get like 300,000 of your loot. Then you can get raided again and another 300K gone. If they loose the raid but steal all of your gold and stuff, then people will be able to keep on attacking you.

Unless you buy a shield for like 1,000 gems. And I'm pretty sure that's only 1 week...

Or you buy resources with like 1.7K gems(for around 6,000,000 gold), and upgrade whatever you want. My cheapest upgrade (besides walls)cost 1.28 million gold. It's crazy. But now you understand the games, and now I can rant about them XD

Most games that are free are pay to play. Why? Because how else would the developers male any money? They give you a taste of what the good stuff is(by like letting you use things for a certain amount of time) then they force you to buy it with real money.

Now here is something that pissed me off: I have this game that is a amazing shooting game, but they charge money for cool bundles and stuff. You don't have to buy things, because there are cool weapons that cost in game cash.

Now they had this one gun. It was called the MIB noisy cricket. It cost $15 and was considered the most hated gun in the game. Why? Because it one shot killed anyone, and if they blast is close to hitting the person(it doesn't have to hit them) they die. Oh and it also goes through people, so you can get a cool multi kill.

Though you can see why it was hate right? It destroys everyone. Few guns could combat it's power. I was able to stay back and use snipers, but for the longest time I hated it. Finally someone gave me a gift Card, so I decided to buy it. The gun was insanely op, but it was worth it. I had so much fun blasting noobs, and getting in cricket fights. Good times :D

Then came the easter update. Like always there was a Easter bunny outfit that costs money, then a Easter bunny outfit that you have to earn by collecting eater eggs. The free one looks so ugly, and the paid one is amazing.

Here's the thing. I got bored of hunting for Easter eggs, so I decided to play around with the cricket. I went into a match a point blank shot them. It didn't insta kill them, but it brought them down to 1/4th health left. I remeber someone said that the cricket is a 2 shot with the Easter bunny head. So I switched out of the Easter bunny head, and to my horror the gun was still a 2 shot kill!

WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT? YOU CAN'T NERF A GUN THAT COSTS REALLY MONEY! LET ALONE $15! ITS LIKE A WASTE OF MONEY! The only gun like that is the Santa gun, but that is only offered at Christmas time and costs $10. They made me spend my money that was either gonna go to the new Imagine Dragons album or that gun... I should have just gone with the album...
