This has always been a tough thing to talk about with some people. Most people treat followers as actual people, but others treat them as just a number. Where do I stand?

Dead smack in the middle.

Why?

Here's why:
Followers are just a number, and they are people. Only reason why I stand in the middle, is because they both have good arguments. Kinda like halo Vs. CoD.(that's another rant for another day)
See the thing is, is that you don't wanna spend your whole wattpad career just trying to get followers, or it won't really work out. And even if it does, what's the point of having hundreds of followers, but like 0 reads? There is none really.

Buuut you should also treat all your followers like people. Write what they want, or what's popular. But you also wanna write something that is something that you enjoy. Thou-

Anyways, back to the original point, you also gotta treat followers like real people. They infact are real people, and even if they are fake accounts, somebody had to take the time and create a program to make them!

Point is, you should be proud of your self for having more then one follower, because that means that somebody actually thinks that your not a fail at life.

So take followers seriously, but don't spend your whole life trying to get some...
