why

like do you know what impacts it has on them knowing their "fans" change their skin color to make them look prettier?

i hate seeing whitewashed idols, you honestly have no idea how it'll effect the idols physically and emotionally seeing what their fans do

coming from a brown family my mom always implies on how white girls are so much more prettier and feel more wanted like tbh that just makes me feel uglier so how do you think idols feel

i remember watching this video of an idol who was taking a photo shoot and when he was looking at the photos he said "these photos make me look whiter than i actually am" and the tone of his voice indicated he was upset

then the staff just made it worse

"thats the whole point"

he laughed afterwards and pulled it off but it was pretty obvious he was upset

so really please think of what impacts it has on someone's life. everyone is beautiful the way they are no matter what color
