A teenage girl sits balled up in the corner, trying to block out the arguing voices of her mind.

2 of them did not have a specific name, though she liked to consider them somewhat similar to some of her made up egos.

Her left brain shall be called Rebekitah, as she was very logical.

Her right brain shan't be called Becky as her right brain wasn't all anger.  That was specifically FOR Anger.

Her right brain shall be called Turmoil, as that was what was happening.

And then there was Anger.

He just never seemed to leave.

Back to what was happening, the girl was balled up in the corner while her 3 sorta-real egos fought in the room.

"This is absurd!  Why should she have to listen to some teacher when she's been dying to have her hair this way?!"  Anger exclaimed.

Rebekitah sighed.  "Becca knew this could be a problem---"

"But not THIS much of a problem! "  Turmoil said sadly, tears threatening to fall from her face.

"The problem is that she loves choir and wishes to be selfless to be able to fully enjoy choir...."

"Buuut she's also gotta be selfish for once in her life!  I mean, how many parents condone  their teenage children to dye their hair?!  They've been trying to find someone to do her hair like this since...late July!"

"But she can't just go tell her choir teacher to get over it....  That teacher is the only teacher in her ENTIRE life who's tried to do something about the bullying towards Becca...."

The girl in the corner was wincing.  "Please...just...just stop fighting....  It's giving me a headache...."

The 3 didn't pay any attention to her.  As usual.

"The teacher said that Becca can't think about herself, but about the choir as a whole.  By dyeing her hair, she thought of herself."

"But is it so WRONG to be selfish once in a blue moon?!  Becca NEVER gets to be selfish!  She's wanted purple hair for AGES! "

"Well, Turmoil, it apparently is wrong for Becca to be selfish according to those a-holes up at her school.  But everyone ELSE gets to be selfish without consequence!  It's so...frustrating!"

"The disliking of her hair by one person is ruining her entire outlook on the situation...."

"But it's an influential person in her life....  A VERY influential person in her life...."

Tears finally came out of Turmoil's eyes, causing the girl to cry, as well.

"It's all so conflicting....  I don't know how to feel...."
