My dad is so fluent in two languages but CANNOT speak English and usually this doesn't even bother me, sometimes I play it to my advantage at like parents evenings when the teacher tries to throw me under the bus and I happen to just embellish the facts a little bit. It's not LYING it's called decorating the truth.

Well, anyway,

We were in Costco, my UK dwellers will know what a plug Costco is 🔌🔌🔌(does America have Costco?), and my dad wanted me to get the beans which was like on the other end of the aisle so I went to go and get it.

And guys, this is what happens when you mix other accents with English. My dad wanted to say beans as in Heinz beans but he ended up saying it like 'beanis' was AND THAT SOUNDS LIKE FRIGGING PENIS SO MY DAD WAS STANDING THERE SHOUTING PENIS DOWN THE AISLE AT ME AND EVERYONE WAS STARING AND I COULDNT STOP LAUGHING.

And my brother was just embarrassed so he ran away so God knows what people would have been thinking... do any other accents have the same problem??
