Okay, before I begin, my heartfelt condolences to anyone who was involved in any of the attacks mentioned in this, also these are my opinions, if you don't like them... exit...

ISSUE NUMBER ONE: I was awake when the news broke about m London attacks, where a man plowed over innocent people on London Bridge. I remember it being the focal centre of the news, and I remember being so shocked and and upset. Today, a man plowed over innocent people, again I was awake when the news broke about the attack, but after talking about it for ten minutes, it was suddenly swept aside for Brexit talks. You know the difference between these two attacks, one was where a British man killed muslims and one was where muslims killed British people. Do they not both deserve the same air time as each other? Are they both not terrorist attacks?

WHICH MOVES ME ONTO ISSUE TWO: the reluctance of broadcasters to label terrorism when the perpetrators aren't Muslims. I was watching the coverage yesterday constantly refer to what happened as an "incident". I mean, at least say "suspected terrorist attack" like they usually do. People other than Muslims can commit terrorism you know?

ISSUE NUMBER THREE: newspapers like the Daily Mail and the Sun and other right wing papers, have a FIELD day when Muslims do anything that they can hone in on. I think the Daily Mail misspelt terrorism as "white van driver". And of course the headline wouldn't be complete without mentioning all the imams that have previously been there, do we get a family tree too? It's like they can't just write about what happened without subliminally taking a dig as Islam? I don't know why I'm expecting much from the same newspaper that decided to have a front page headline of Teresa May's legs...

I just hate the overall hypocrisy that surrounds broadcasters and newspapers. Like okay, newspapers aren't required by law to be impartial but broadcasters, especially the BBC that I was watching the other day, is required legally to show both sides of a story and you can't do that if you keep labelling white terrorists as a "mentally ill lone wolf".
