I'm so TIRED of people pretending to be someone famous just to gain followers.

I have 222 followers as of writing this, and I can proudly say I earned all of them just by writing stories they enjoy.

Here's the thing. I went on one of the fake accounts for a famous YouTuber many of my stories are about: NateWantsToBattle. I scrolled through the conversations on the account.

Too many people have just accepted that he's the "real" Nate.

Guys, stop. Think for a minute. If that was the real Nate, why hasn't he talked about new songs he's working on? Why did he not LINK to his channel, instead of just typing it out?

Seriously. There's a lot of fake accounts, and I get really tired of seeing them.

Stop making them. It's a waste of time, and just because you're gaining followers doesn't mean it's right.

I earned all of my followers because I decided to use Wattpad the way it's meant. Making fake accounts for famous people just prevents them from getting an account with the username they want to use.

And before you start complaining in the comments, I do realize that there are YouTubers with accounts on here. And I'm actually following one of them after confirming it was real. From the ACTUAL PERSON.

So if you're one of the people that made a fake account... Stop tricking people and tell the truth.

And if you're one of the people that doesn't believe the person you're following is fake? Well, look at the facts before you believe it.

I've seen too many fake accounts, and they really shouldn't exist.
