Hello everyone and happy Thanksgiving!

I am writing this because I think we need to talk about Black Friday. This is when insane people cram into stores to get really good deals on crap they don't need the day after Thanksgiving, a day for us to give thanks for all the good things we already have. First off, let me bring your attention to this terrible timing. I get it that right after Thanksgiving it's basically Christmas time and you have to start shopping for gifts for you friends but really? Just wait a day or two and you can let the Thanksgiving vibe die down before you rush out to the store to buy all your Christmas gifts. It's like "Thanks for all the great stuff I already have! Now just a few hours later I will go buy even more stuff for myself!!!" I mean, come on people! Then there's the huge crowds. Who wants to go through that??? I put in a picture above of a Walmart (thank you Google Images) and there is literally a sea of people. It is just plain packed! Is it really worth it because I know for me, I wouldn't go through that for any deal! I mean, there's a pretty likely chance you won't even get whatever it is you wanted anyway! I mean read the fine print; it usually says "while supplies last" which, in crowds like that, probably isn't very long. I don't know if you guys heard, but REI is going to be closed on black Friday which I think is a great idea
