Hello and welcome to another rant for today I will be ranting on a subject that has been an issue for a long time and that's by reaction videos which are all popular on YouTube now the reason I made a rant on this is because of the pattern that most of them use the Fandoms like MHA, MLB, Undertale, FNAF, and etc. etc. also yes the main topic isn't just me criticizing the hell out of them but to give out tips in this chapter and avoid the mistakes that are seen with them so do not get offended if I made fun of your reaction videos because honestly I do not care of your petty whining cus I'm talking about the bad ones rather than the good ones anyways onto the rant!

[1] Lack of Emotion: In every reaction video as said by the actual name the character has to react to certain subjects that are in the video presented to them and that's determined by timeframes however what I noticed is that most reactions do only a few screenshots and not actually put effort into it like I get it you might be a starter however that doesn't give you the excuse to put poor effort into your product like it's a reaction video for crying out loud they need to have more expressions not stone faced statues continuously staring into the abyss of a television screen like the moment I noticed that it's the same screenshots over and over I just immediately leave why because it's boring! In order to make it better just try and put yourself into the character's shoes and decide on the reactions for these certain timeframes like take the fanfic.net version for example say uh MHA reacts to Marvel as they put in the timeframes each of the cast reacts too which sounds in character when I read a really good fic about it and another thing to add is do your research cus most Gacha peeps don't even know anything about the fandom.

[2] Lack of Credit for the Artists or Editors involved: This is another issue in the gacha reaction videos as they all tend to forget to credit the artist who made that video that they are using to react to I mean most of the time it's tiktoks which show the artist's name at the end but other times it could be videos from other youtube channels now the reason why I need to address this is because there are some gachatubers out there who don't credit the artists or even bother to link them down as all they said is "Credits go to the creators" now that's complete bullshit because a simple thanks is never enough now if you really want my advice then I'll answer as first you must use videos that are a-ok with the creators confirming you can use it without the risk of a copyright strike maybe search it up just in case cus videos who are excused by the permission of the artist for use is much better than stealing a video from someone who isn't even aware of it and hell if you want to use videos you could always ask permission from the original artist who made the content. (By that I meant put in links in the description just in case for extra precaution)

[3] Commentary is it to be or not to be used?: In reaction videos there are sometimes no commentary to the video at all and what is commentary you ask well it's the process in which the character is speaking out in a form of dialogue over the video they are reacting to this mostly being the fandom depending on popularity of course and yes I have seen most reactions do little breaks which gives the characters an amount of time to review the video and give out there opinion however this mostly never happens instead it's just a simple time skip that says in white letters "TIMESKIP" and that's basically it now first what the hell was that!? I mean you had the opportunity to get some commentary in but instead you skip out on the opportunity like the actual fuck now the best advice would be to do some bits of commentary here and there to make the videos unique also another thing like last time is to do your research or else you'll end up with OOC Fandom characters with either little reaction or to much reaction.

[4] Designs/Character in general: This is going to be bit simple since I literally have nothing to say about other than the fact that some lower tier gachatubers need to improve on their designs now I understand it's hard to stay on one design for too long I mean look at me it took a while to get some proper things right especially for historical timelines or palates and adjustments however when I see Gachatubers doing reaction videos I tend to get pretty judgy on the designs ok maybe I criticize them a lot but hey I'm not the only one hating on izuku being a fem-boy/stereotypes for other characters or the characters being way too plain for my tastes or the fact of too much neon colors or the fact that they barley put effort into the designs at all nope just nope totally not the fact that I'm hiding my anger that their designs are complete and utter garbage. (The advice for this little fact is simple enough if you are horrible at designs for Aus then just put them in their canon wear, try to use adjustments more, and last of all use colors that fit not whatever the hell this rainbow barf is like seriously we have gacha club for crying out loud get creative!!)

[5] Actual Originality: In most Gachatuber reaction videos it's always the creator being a form of god that teleports the characters into a simple room(Most of the time there confused as hell cus who else wouldn't) maybe even making the room impossible to escape from or putting dangerous characters in the same room with each other(That's a bad thing cus no one ever explores into this) now first off this is too overused due to Gacha Logic nonsense now I already stated this in my videos for "Oc's criticism on my old designs for them" but I made a clear fact that the IRL Oc is not a god instead they are an average human being just living their life which is original for once in my opinion since they required the assistance of help which also so happens to sometimes reference an event for easter eggs sake.(I did that with 2 certain Marvel Characters in my designs book) I suggest in my opinion that if you are not that knowledgeable about fandoms then use your Ocs since it makes the job easier, put in an inner plot for the video instead of just reaction for some storyboarding ideas, and finally put effort into your videos instead of just doing laziness by following my steps and boom you should be good from there!

{Ocs idea cus I noticed that they are underrated and deserve more attention

The IRL Oc being used instead of a Persona is much more better in my opinion

Other little facts is basically my opinion so don't get all mean on me just because I insulted you oh and the last thing is never do the same thing over and over again like that one gachatuber called Naomi Official who just does reactions depending on the popular fandom without any knowledge of it and that is the one thing that pisses me off all the time}
