This is me getting bored and rewatching Ever After High-

Ever After High is 10x better.

The names are better, the plot is better, IT ISN'T RACIST.

I'm not kidding. The black women were always the villains. Cruella Devil, Audrey's mom, Uma, Audrey, Cecilia. All villains with dark skin. Mal literally drugged Ben and publicly humiliated Audrey, and she got congratulated for it and got the guy. Would you date the girl who drugged you? No. And when Uma, the black girl, DID THE EXACT SAME THING with a better reason, everyone is apologizing to Mal and trying to make her feel better while Audrey didn't get any of that when Mal did it. It's not directly there in your face but it's there if you look. Then Cecilia was "the ghetto girl" who was sent to Auradon so she could learn Manners, Audrey was humiliated and literally watched her boyfriend sing about another woman while drugged and they ended up together-

"The Misogynoir of Descendants" by Harriyana Hook explains this.

Ever After High has better villains ngl- Uma was the best out of all the villains because- Its China. I've been with China since I was seven so like :/ I stan her and her acting so much- but like, she carried the Franchise-

Like, the villains in EAH were much better. The villains were people who didn't see they were being bad. Like Apple was perfect. And then there's Rosabella. ITS THE PERFECT NAME FOR HER AS WELL. The Rose-

They literally gave all the kids the same initials as their parents. Mal literally stands for Maleficent. She just didn't "unlock" her full name because she wasn't evil enough. Evie? Now how the actual hell did Jane get her name? Lonnie got hers from Li Shang.

Onto the good parts~

The characters were so much better-

Mal literally said "oh I choose good-" and the second movie she goes "nah-" and almost gets her boyfriend killed in a good music number before she started talking. She literally didn't even apologize to Audrey, was privileged af at Auradon and was literally fine with letting kids suffer for their parents crimes as only letting those four kids come to Auradon forever. I get it, Her dad was a 'villain' and tried to kill her, but then we have Audrey, someone from Auradon, who literally became evil from heartbreak. Like 👀 bruh, she was literally the worst and we were forced to be on her side. Also, those bangs? Honey, I'm sorry, please no. Dove, please don't get bangs again. That- your acting was amazing tho-

Raven-

RAVEN IS PERFECT. SHE KNEW HER MOTHER WAS WRONG, and I've read the books, she gets her kindness from her dad, AND SHE WAS TRYING TO FIX EVERYONE'S IDEA OF HER. She wasn't evil and she knew it. She only became evil when she really needed to be, so that Lizzie Queen didn't lose her right to the throne. Apple was really the villain, trying to get Raven to change just so that she would have a happy ending that left Raven in a mirror or a prison for the rest of her life.

I cannot- I love EAH and The first two Descendants but the third... Jesus Christ that was... that was cringy as hell.

EAH is actually kinda cringy but it's just better.

Darling Charming is a literal icon, I love her.

But Rosabella and Daring 👁👄👁 that- now that- THAT WAS- omg it was perfection and a perfect way to recreate the Beauty and The Beast story.

Rosabella is such a cute name omg, im obsessed-

Ok but like, Apple reminds me of my cousins dog named Applé pronounced Appel.

I'm just realizing I AM BIASED AF- I HAD A WHOLE BIRTHDAY PARTY DEDICATED TO EVER AFTER HIGH OMG- I CANNOT-

The Ever After High Art Style was amazing, I'm so pissed about Disney getting it cancelled just because they wanted to make Descendants-
